Taxi to MK

If I take a taxi to Magic Kingdom, will it drop me off at the TTC or in front of the park where the bus drops off?

It will drop you off at the TTC and you will need to take the monorail or ferry boat to the MK itself. Only Disney buses go to the depot out by the park.

Another option for a taxi is to take it to the CR and walk to the MK from there.

Thanks, that is what I thought the answer would be, just wanted to make sure I'm also thinking of taking a taxi to one of the monorail resorts and either taking the monorail or the boat, just for a change of pace

If you want to catch a boat, take the taxi to Polynesian. You'll walk through the Great Ceremonial House, which in interesting looking, and then through the main pool area, also interesting looking, and then to the boat dock, which gives you a panoramic view of the lagoon, which includes a pretty close-up of Grand Floridian and a nice longer-distance view of Contemporary.

The boat goes directly from Poly to MK. If you take the taxi to GF, you'll be so close to MK, yet the boat will go all the way to Poly first (essentially moving you farther away from MK) before going to MK.
