Taxi service to WDW?

I was wondering...Since I don't like sound of the wait on Mears transport, and it's only me going on the trip, how much is a cab from the MCO to DD? If it's cheaper than a towncar service, then I will just do that.

I've read stories from people who say its $10 cheaper each way than a towncar to take a cab, and I've read stories of it being $10 more expensive. I have yet to read anything from anyone who doesn't actually drive a cab recommending a cab over Mears or a towncar.
