What are the Florida laws about riding in a taxi with young children (mine are 2 and 1)??

I know that we can ride on the buses and the Disney Magic Express with no problems.

The reason I'm asking is because we might be staying an extra day, but OFF Disney Property.

The hotels (Hilton ones) have shuttles to the Disney parks, but it doesn't look like they have their own Airport shuttle.

So, we would have to get a Taxi to get to the airport. I didn't know if it was legal to do this. Has anybody else done this??

The thought of riding in a taxi without a carseat, scares me!!

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Kathryn

Are you staying at the Hilton on Hotel Plaza Blvd? Anyway if you call Mears for a taxi and request 2 carseats they will get you, probably a van, that has the car seats. If you check on car service through the internet you will find many services that have car seats available. Be sure you request 2 car seats and don't accept a service that says they do not provide car seats. You might try to book in advance with the car service.

Hilton on Hotel Plaza gas a contract with Mears, so they will call a taxi if the cars on the stand do not have 2 carseats.

The best (and safest) thing to do would be to bring your car seats with you, use them on the plane, and then you will know you have them for any taxi trips you need to take.

We stayed at POP, and were running late for our ADR at O'Hanas. I called teh front desk, and they connected me to Yellow Cab. I requested two booster seats, and within 15 minutes the van pulled up.

Good luck!
