Taxi Returns

I think I've already asked this question but didn't get any response.

Just wondering when you've booked a taxi to a destination, Can you book a return in advance with the driver?

I know you can with the Mears Shuttle Service. Not sure of with taxi. Have you tried posted this on the Transportation Board? They may have a better response.

It depends on the individual driver. Some will, some won't.

You can, but it's not a guarantee that they will actually show up! That happenned to us last year when we took a taxi from BWV to Queen Mary Shrine. I asked the driver if he could return in one hour and he said he would. Well, we were stranded for 30 minutes waiting for a new taxi to arrive (in the rain, no less). So, just make sure you have the phone number with you of the taxi co.
