Taxi prices

Hi, I havent booked transport from orlando international to international drive yet, would it be cheaper to get a cab or prebook transfers?

Pre-booked transfers would be cheaper as you would probably be sharing and dropping of at a number of hotels.

Usually when we arrive we just head down to the taxi stand on the ground floor and get the guy at the stand to order us a cab we get the large 8 seater which fits us all and our luggage and last october it only cost us $35 plus tip. Which we thought was a great price x

There ain´t NO price differences on the transportations out of MCO.
All companies charges the same.
There are NO saving on pre booking.
Pre booking just gives you another additional counter to stand in line in at MCO.
Dont be fooled by the fact that Americans dont put the RIGHT price on stuff.
(restaurants,food,u name it. I think they like to think they will save money by giving prices that dont include tax.)
You need to add tax,tip (please dont tip there guys) and sometimes xtra airport tolls,road tolls,disney property toll. (yay they have a pretty good scheme going on.LOL)

Mears cheered taxi (stops 2-4 times,and taking others from mco in the same cab as you) cost (if i remember correct32$ round trip (adult) and 18 (or 20) for one way.That it TOTAL. (do not tip).
Ordinary Taxi (cab) will cost you 50-55$ on way (disney,dtd,idrive)

So if your 2 persons the cheapest are sheered taxi, if your more than 2 the taxi is the cheapest.
(or pay 2$ one way for the perfectly great LYNX bus that leaves every 30,min)

Lino cost 70@ one way and 130 round trip (these guys you HAVE to tip 15-20% in addition to the price).
