Hello! Just wondering what the typical cost is to take a cab ride in the world? We are going to need a cab from Pop to Chef Mikeys and also to Boma? I hope this is in the right location to get an answer. thanks.

There really isn't any typical cab fares, but for your two examples:

Pop to Chef Mickeys $15-$18 plus tip

Pop to Boma $12-$15 plus tip
Assuming you don't get taken via the scenic route.

You can also bus to either location, to Chef MIckeys take bus to MK and walk over to the CR. For Boma take bus to AK and then transfer to the AKL bus.
In either of the above make sure the Park is open at that time, otherwise buses will not be going there. Allow yourself at least an hour travel time by bus.
You can also use DTD as a transfer point if parks are closed, but expect it to take a bit longer.

thanks. I found a website for the transfers, but they are early morning, how early do the buses start? We have Chef Mickey's at 7 am and Boma at 8am!

by the way, how do I know if it is the scenic route? I hope thats a joke, though i know it probably isn't!:rotfl2:

Supposedly the buses begin running at 6:30am for ADRs. That might be a problem for your 7am one at CM. You might have to bite the bullet and take a cab for that one. If you get the cab by 6:30am you'll be fine, won't take more than 15 min to get there.
For Boma be at the bus stop no later than 7am and you should make it.

The comment about the scenic route was that if you don't know the way you should be heading the driver could take a longer route to run up the fare a few bucks. Get a map from bell services and have an idea of what way you think would be the shortest just to protect yourself. And no I am not suggesting that cab drivers would do such a thing.:confused3

Ok, great! You have helped out so much... by the way.. How late do they run? We have ressie at Narcousses at 750pm, would we need a cab for way to pop??

I for sure wouldnt know my way around the world, they could probably drive me in circles and i wouldnt know any better:laughing:

Getting to Narcoossee's shouldn't be a problem as MK will be open at that time, so take the bus to MK and then either the boat or resort monorail to GF. If a boat is there at the time it might be faster because the monorail will stop at Contemporary, TTC, Poly then GF. But it's a toss up. Give yourself at least an hour.
As far as getting back to Pop if MK is still open or it just closed take the monorail back to MK and then walk over to the MK bus stop and catch the bus to Pop.

And there is always the option of the cab if you're in a hurry, cost would be about the same as going from Pop to CM,
