I would go with the hired car. We used Happy Limo on our last trip. Actually used them twice, once from the airport to Universal and then again from Universal to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. They were on time and pleasant. The car was clean and believe it or not they cost about the same as a taxi. You can also book them round trip so your transportation is already taken care of. They will also do a 15 minute stop at a store between the airport and your hotel with no extra charge. Great if you plan on picking up water or breakfast items.
