Taxi in St. Thomas

For those who have taken taxi rides in St. Thomas: How many riders can be in a single taxi? We are a family of five: myself, DW, DS12, DS9, and DD6. Are some of the cabs large enough to carry two adults and three children, or will we have to split up into two cabs?

The only cabs I saw in St Thomas were either 12-15 passenger vans, or these wild-looking trucks with molded seats in the bed of the truck that held about 20+ people. The vans had seat belts, the trucks did not.
