We're thinking of foregoing the rental car this time and trying ME. I just wonder how much it costs to go the Our Lady of the Universe Shrine[I think that's the name] (for Catholic services) and back to WL? Also, about how much would it be if I made a quick run in the grocery store in The Crossings?

Thanks!

There is a Publix grocery store behind the outlets right there by the Shrine. I would recommend shopping there instead of Goodings at the Crossroads.

Thanks for the tip... can you safely walk to the Publix? Any idea on how much taxi fare would be?

Thanks!

No you wouldn't want to walk in this area. No sidewalks and very busy. I don't know about the cab fare.

Can you give more directions to that Publix store? We go to the outlets all the time, but haven't seen the Publix store. Do you have to drive around the back of the outlets?

Yes it is around the back of the Premium outlets. You can get directions from your location at www.publix.com

Publix is probably somewhat cheaper than Goodings, too. Goodings is rather costly, IMHO.

If you can, try to get your taxi at DTD. It is a short drive to the church from there - 10 minutes tops and usually shorter than that. The fare is about $8.00, plus tip. You can ask them to come back for you and most drivers are very gracious about doing that. Give them a time to pick you up. If you do, bring your cell phone. The phones outside the church are often out of service and the staff at the store will not let anyone use their phone - been there, done that! :confused3 The Mass on Saturday evenings is quite lengthy; it often runs past 7:00 p.m. We've never attended the Mass on Sunday mornings.

The street names mean nothing to me, so the address wouldn't mean too much. I just know where the outlet is from the Catholic Church..just past it on the right.

So once you go past the Catholic church, do you keep going on that road (and Premium Mall would be on your right (and you would see Dolly's place straight ahead), or do you turn just before the Mall and go around back?
Thanks

Yes you keep going around the back of the outlets. When you get back by Dolly Parton's keep looking on the left and you will see a small shopping center with the Publix in there.

Thanks..all the times I've gone there I've never seen the Publix.
