So I wanted some advise on my plan, we are renting a hose in Windsor Hills and I have been looking at transportation. my current plan is to get everyone in a Taxi (hoping there will be a van at MCO with making a reservation) and get the kids and wife to the house ASAP after a long day of travel. Then have the Taxi drop me and my father in-law dropped off at the Thrifty rental place on Bronson Memorial Hwy. The van rental is several hundred dollars cheaper there then at MCO.
Questions
will there be vans taxis at MCO or should I make reservations?

how cooperative will the taxi driver be?

and overall does this sound like a reasonable plan?

Was wondering the same. We are at Windsor Hill Feb 20 - March 6 and renting a car at MCO is over $1000 for those two weeks. This will be our 4th time going around that time and I have never paid more than $450 for the two weeks. I don't understand why it is so high. I've been looking at renting by the resort instead.

I rented the Thrifty van for 405.00 then 450.00 with tax etc, it was 450.00 originally but I did find a code. I see there is a Hertz,Alamo, and a Sixt very near the resort.

do you mind if I ask, did you rent right through thifty or on a travel site? I'm still only seeing $800 plus everywhere.

right through Thrifty and it was KISSIMMEE - EAST and the code I used was 5c11m. Good luck I was forever finding any kind of deal rental cars are expensive right now.
