Taxi from Airport

Can anyone tell me how many people would fit in a taxi from the airport? Are there taxi vans that would take a larger number of people than a sedan?

There are Luxury Cab vans you can pick up at the taxi stand that seat up to 9 persons. Mears transportation has vans that hold 7 persons and Sedans that hold 4 person comfortably tight.

These luxury cabs that you mention, are they generally available at the taxi stand most of the time? We are considering sending 9 of our group in the taxi while the others pick up our hire car.

They are the same rate as the taxis. They have meters. Do not let the driver talk you into a flat rate, use the meter. Luxury Cab is the name of the company. The vehicles are not luxury equipped. Yes, they are available when you walk up requesting a taxi. If none are on the stand the Taxi starter will call one up for you.
