Taxi costs

We are going to Disneyland next year for a few days before taking the Wonder to Vancouver:
Can anyone tell me the rough cost of a taxi from a hotel across the road from Disneyland to San Pedro Port?
I have asked Disney about their shuttle to the port and they "recommend" anyone not staying in a Disney hotel join the shuttle at the airport. I can't really see the point of going all the way back to the airport and wondered if a taxi could be an option.

I would go with a shuttle or car service. They will pick you up at the hotel and then drop you off at the port. Taxi would be verrrryyyy expensive. Especially since traffic bites and they charge for sitting in as well as moving.
