You're looking at around $60 or so each way, plus tip. If you are staying at All Star Music and landing at MCO, why don't you use the Magical Express? It's free

If you don't fancy Magical Express then a Towncar Transfer may be the better option rather than booking a cab. Your Towncar driver will be waiting at baggage reclaim for you and then will drop you off at your resort - with a grocery stop enroute if required (useful for room snacks etc..).

That's a good idea. It won't cost you much more than a taxi, if anything at all. They throw in a grocery stop along the way, but you can just let the driver know that you are pressed for time.
My friend payed $36 +tip from MCO to universal HRH. She used mears. Put in for 3 of us with shared ride and it came out as $50thought it would be cheaper on a shared fare(mini bus)

Honestly, for that price I would rather get a town car. I know the OP doesn't want a shopping stop or anything but with a town car you have that option inlcluded. They also meet you at the airport which is nice. I looked into it earlier this year as I wondered if it would get us to the resort quicker but it really boils down to timing and how long we would have waited for ME. I decided I wasn't going to fork out for a ride and then have the ME pull up alongside us at the resort
We used a lovely gentleman last year to take us from Sanford to IDrive. He's a retired gentleman, who now just uses his huge car as a shuttle to and from Orlando airports.
He's very reasonable, and was recommended on the airport's website.

Just doing some tentative costings (we all know where this is likely to lead, but it's tentative at the moment! ) and I'm trying to find out how much it might cost us to get from Sanford to WDW, but I haven't been able to find a price on the site from BethEJo's link.
I'd be interested in any other suggestions, too
Any help much appreciated
