Taxi/Bus Question

One afternoon I'm going to Blue Man Group and was thinking I would ride Lynx over since I have the time and it would be cheaper. But I want to get back to WDW afterwards and was thinking it would be faster and maybe safer to take a Taxi. Do Taxi's charge per person (3 of us) or flat rate? Do they charge a one way fee, or a round trip fee? If it would be a round trip fee...would they take me to BMG at US wait 2 hrs then take me back? Sorry I haven't taken a taxi forever.

Where is Blueman Group performing? I've seen some posts on this board with less than stellar ratings for the Lynx bus service.

A one day car rental may be you best bet and you can also hit the outlets and some of the discount stores.

Orlando Premium Outlets has a Disney's Character Premiere. A lot of great deals
on Disney merchandise.

They are performing at the Theater at Universal.

Take a look at the link below. Certian Lynx buses stop at some of the Disney hotels and there is a terminal in Downtown Disney. It doesn't look like there is much frequency of buses from DD to the Universal area. You will need to transfer once. Fare is $1.50 each way per adult or $3.50 for a day pass.

I personally would rent a car. I know it is more expensive than the bus, but it is a lot less headaches.
