Thanks in advance for your help.

I will be traveling with a 7 year old and a 3 1/2 year old. If we decide to catch a taxi, any chance the taxis have booster/carseats that my kids can use? What if I call ahead and request a booster and a carseat when ordering the taxi, will that work?

Thanks.
JD

Best thing to do is call and ask. The company we called had one that they brought with them. This was a few years ago though. Have fun.

I would call ahead. Florida law allows children to ride without a booster or car seat starting at age 3!! Kinda nuts if you ask me!

They know which vehicles have the seats for which size kids when you call them (or if valet calls them). When we called for a van a few trips ago, they routed one that met our specific needs to Kidani and made sure we were the right party so someone else didn't steal our van.

It was pouring out and getting dropped off from one dry port to another was great. people were wating in line at the Wave freezing with the AC blasting and soaking wet. We were comfortable as could be.

No, Florida law does not allow children at age 3 to ride in cabs without babyseats. All children under 4 yers old must be in a babyseat whether it is cabs, private cars or vans. At WDW when you call for a taxi you tell them you need a babyseat and Mears will send you a vehicle with a babyseat. Many of the Mears taxi's on the stand carry at least one babyseat. You just have to ask for it. The same applies to you leave Universal to return to WDW.
