I know I am asking a question that has been asked before but I am just now doing my taxes and need advice. I can't find the search function.

I have 175 BCV Points and 200 SSR Points.

What is the cost per point that I can take off on my taxes for real estate tax.

You should have gotten an Annual Dues Statement somewhere around the end of December, beginning of January. Mine is dated 12/17/04. On there is the Operating Budget, Capital Reserves Budget, and Property Taxes - estimated and actual. Each resort is a separate line item. Use the numbers for "Property Tax - Actual."

I have 150 VWL and 50 BWV and the taxes were $128.55 and $43.96, respectively.

Hope this helps.

You may want to call member accounting to get your specific information if you don't have your annual statement. If you purchased SSR last year, you did not pay a full year's maintenance fee (and thus didn't pay a full year's property tax).

If you owned BCV for the entire year you can just use the amount per point to figure the taxes paid, but SSR will certainly be different (and will be different for each building as it opened).

Just call MS and select the Member Accounting option from the voicemail menu.

I have it written down that BCV is .8664 per point and BWV is .8792 per point, sorry no SSR. I didn't figure this myself - I got it from someone else on the boards too.

Webmaster Doc's suggestion is a good one. When I called MS about my taxes it turned out that SSR came to 22 cents total for my 150 points. It had a different number on the estimated bill I had managed to find. I bought during the original pre sale or whatever it was for current members and closed in May or June so that was several months of taxes.
