I used the H&R Block Tax Cut CD-ROM last year, and really liked it, so when I saw it out in the stores I went to grab a copy, until I saw the price tag 70$
the online version is only 45$ so I though I'd try that.

Has anyone used both and are they they same????
Has anyone used the online version and had any problems???
Does anyone use another service that they really liked???

I'll be itemizing if that makes a difference.

Thanks

You may be looking at different versions.

You can get a "basic" version for the federal only at about $20,

You can get a "premium" version with both state and federal for about $35. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7942542

You can also get a version designed for persons owning a business at about $78.

I've used the federal version both itemizing for the past several years, and been happy with it. Of course I also live in a state with no state-levied income tax.

the versions i'm looking at are the same..they include:

federal
state
and e-file

so my question is....are stores really charging 25$ to buy it at their place as opposed to using the online version.

and are they exactly the same?????
