I love FFX and FFX-2, so this guy's tattoo made me smile:

I also like this one:

The girl in question is an RN and that's her actual heartbeat (minus the heart shaped piece). My heartbeat is nowhere near that neat.

"Start Love. End Hate." pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

I'd also kinda like a small "xxx" somewhere. To symbolize the fact that I'm straight-edge. Ideally, I'd like a pair of 'x's. One on the back of each hand. But, going into teaching, it probably wouldn't go over too well.

I followed the edge lifestyle for a loooong time (I don't drink or smoke still, I'm just not into the scene anymore) and I've seen a lot of really nice edge tattoos. When I was like...14ish I planned one that was three Xs but just the outline (so they looked "hollow" i suppose) and the "drug free" in a script-y font.

I have 2 tattoos, and I'm currently designing/planning my third, which I hope to get in May.

They all have meaning to me, and all are able/will be able to be covered.

My first I got just over a year ago. It's a monarch butterfly on my foot/ankle. My second I got in June, it's 3 stargazer lilys on the side of my lower back, sort of near the back/bottom of my ribs.

My third is a quote with a branch of a cherry blossom wrapping around it.
The quote is: "and in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. it's the life in your years".
I'm getting it on my ribs, but it will wrap a little to my back. I cannot wait to get it done!

ETA: My foot tattoo hurt most near the achilles tendon, and my flowers hurt most near the ribs. haha so i'm sure my next will be a joyyyyyy. =)

Where you have your flowers is where I want my treble cleft (to clarify from my fist post) just not as big.

I Love Them! If you know Kat Von D she is covered in tatoos but they are the so tastefully done! But I will only plan to get 2 or 3.

The First one i am going to get is angel wings on my lower back.

the Second one is going to be like a stars.

I really like that kat von d has tattooed glitter on her side of her eyebrows!
If i dont think that the first one i get isnt that bad i will probably get that!

lol the thread started off awesome.. then got really weird.. and then back to awesome.. i didnt read every post on the whole religious debate that happened, but i just wanted to say that Tattoos started off as religious and cultural rituals... they show pride in who you are.. also, for everyone that keeps quoting the bible.. just know that no religion is the same today as when it first started... for christianity, id look up an event called the "Counsel of Nicea" ... and thats all ill say about religion.. not trying to cause argument, but at least have an open mind about things

Thats my initials in the middle.... the letters going around my initials are the initials of my family members... The wings represent my family lifting me through life.. in a way, they are my "flames of life," hence why their initials are in flames... i know.. its really cheesy, but its sometihng i wont regret getting lol:

I don't really like the covered in tattoos look, or facial tattoos but other than that I don't mind them.
I'd like to get one on my hip, but I'm worried it will be too painful.
