Tastings went up in price?

I’ve been checking availability almost daily to see if the tasting I want to do on our cruise has opened up. This morning when I checked I noticed the prices have gone up at least $15-$20 a person. For example the the chocolate and liquor has gone up for this sailing from $38 ppto now it’s showing at $50 pp we are sailing april 30th on the fantasy . Has anyone else noticed this? I know people who are sailing on the wish mentioned different tastings being available and more expensive. But I didn’t think they’d raise the price mid booking period for the same sailing

I saw something similar with port adventures. I booked a snorkel excursion on Grand Cayman for $89pp. I later saw some more spots come available for $109pp.

I actually just went to check my tastings to see if their prices had changed ...but they're actually just gone! Gonna go look into that right this now....update: closed and reopened the phone app and they reappeared

I can’t get the page to load right now. I booked the chocolate one for my June Dream cruise for $38 a couple of days ago.

Okay, the ones I already booked are still the same price (martini and mixology are $25 and chocolate is $37), but I can’t get the page to load to add anything new.

Chocolate and Liquor - $50
Beer - $40
Mixology- $40
Rum - $45
Wine - $45
Tequila - $40

With the site back up, I'm seeing the same for the 4/23 fantasy sailing. It looks like the stuff I already booked honored the original price, but prices for available and sold out tastings are now higher.

Does that surprise you? Everything is going up in price.

Chocolate and Liquor was $37 last week...the last drink he served us was from a $200+ bottle, it was good stuff. He made sure to tell us to pass it to a friend if you don't like it, don't let it go to waste

I did it on my own on the Magic a couple weeks ago - I am not a whiskey fan and my husband was NOT happy that the thought never crossed my mind to bring that last glass back to him. I did bring a few of the chocolates back for my son.

Re the prices - I think the DCL cruise line blog had posted the increased prices for the Wish... it makes sense that they would up the prices for the other ships but it's disappointing nonetheless. It's still not a terrible deal given how much you get but I'm glad I hit 3 tastings on our last cruise at the "old" price (All were awesome and a ton of booze - Mojito/Caiphirana on Castaway Cay, Liqueur and Chocolate, and Mixology).

I just checked our plans, we are on the Wonder in July and the prices for the two tastings we have booked have not gone up (yet). *Edit to add, looks like if you are booked already then you have escaped the price increase? Going off other comments on this thread.

Yeah the listed prices have gone up for our 6/18 Fantasy cruise, but I should just be paying the old cost for my 3 tastings that were booked before the increase. (My bookings show the old price.). Crazy increases though...going up $13-$15 all at once. $5 would have been more reasonable.

We are on 6/18 Fantasy also! I think we have chatted before about how we both went to school for geology. Now I need to go check my tastings. I sure hope they don't go up in price. We have chocolate/liquor and champagne booked (our favorites).
