Tastings on the Fantasy

What tastings would you recommend on the Fantasy?

It has been a long time since we sailed with Disney and I would love to know what to book.

We did the champagne tasting and liquor/dessert tasting. Husband did whiskey tasting. Champagne tasting was very good and we both enjoyed it very much. The liquor/dessert tasting not so much. Strong flavors, it looked like many struggled in the group. Husband didn't enjoy whiskey tasting.

In June, I did 3 tastings ( Champagne, Mixology, and Chocolate and Liquor) at the old prices on the Fantasy, not sure if I would do them at the current prices!.

We did the tequila/margarita tasting on the first night of our Fantasy cruise in September. The tasting was fine, but it was in Outlook (the 'hidden' bar in the funnel), which was a cool view. The best part though was the cast members that hosted the tasting. Both recognized us throughout the rest of the cruise and gave us drink recommendations/different cocktails based on what we liked.

We did 3 on fantasy last week:

- Champagne. Really nice, especially the Bollinger
- Chocolate / liquor tasting. Loved this. Really fun to see how the chocolate modifies the taste and feel of the different liquors.
- Tequila. Really did not enjoy this. The host was basically just doing a comedy routine. It was not a serious tasting at all. And one of the 2 margaritas they served was really not tasty.

Champagne tasting on 12/10 cruise was excellent. The host was the sommelier from Paolo’s. The whiskey tasting was very rudimentary with no special pours so if you know anything, I would skip.

I also just did 3 tastings last week.
In Skyline lounge with Big Mama, who is fantastic and worth the class all by itself:
Mixology was great. I liked all the drinks for sure.
Martini: Hated the Gin one, but loved the other 4 and found the tasting to be incredible.

In Ooh La La:
Did the Chocolate and Liquor. It was awesome. Loved the port and found the chocolates and cheese amazing.
As for the pricing, it was worth it for the 5 drinks (portions and quality were worth it alone) and a can of water.

Funny - we really disliked the one hosted by Big Mama. She's a nice lady, but the whole thing was just a joke and not what we were expecting. If it were billed as a comedy routine with buffalo pretzels and tequila shots, it would at least have been aligned with expectations.
