Tasting Session Question

I have a quick question about the food at the tasting session. I filled out my sheet that lists what we want to taste, but then my planner said that it is up to the chef what you actually get to taste. What does that mean?

Does that mean that I only get to taste a few of the things on the list and that the chef decides what those items are? I guess I thought that I would be tasting all the items I listed.

The way I understood it, they try very hard to get everything on your list. But if for some reason, due to seasons or availability of some sort, they may not be able to get exactly everything you want. It's just a way to cover themselves I think. My planner told me that they do try to get everything you want, or close to it though.

Yeah, sounds like Disney's standard line. Just in case anything happens they have covered their butt. We tasted everything on our list plus some sides they threw in. I wouldn't worry about it.

We were also treated to some suggestions and variations. It is fun and very low stress.

Awesome. I put everything that was a maybe for us on the list so I am glad I will be able to taste everything. So excited!

From what I was told if you select something specific from a restaruant or a park you aren't going to get the exact thing becuase they won't be comeing from the same restaruant or park but the chefs will do their best to recreate it. Somthing along those lines.
