tasting cake before intimate?

hello everyone. i was wondering if any of you went on a planning session trip if you had an intimate wedding? if so, do you get to try some cake flavors? my mom and my bridesmaid are going to disney world on vacation in december and i would like for them to bring me back some samples. i was just curious if they could do that. i really wish i was able to go but i have to save for the wedding, df has to work and i wouldn't have anyone to watch my son. thanks ahead of time for your feedback!!

I have also been wondering the same thing, but we are having our VR at the Swan. My sister and I have the exact same tastes so I was hoping that her and her husband (who live in FL) could make a short trip of it to do our planning session instead of us. We also are trying to save for our VR and right now a trip down to WDW is not possible.

We have a planning session/double checking this is really what I want, planned. And we wanted to do a tasting and were told that they do not do tastings for intimates. Bummer. But at least I get to go look at all the pretty cake choices. And I get to sit down have a semi planning session, so that's a start.

Depending on where your ceremony/reception will be, (Grand Floridian, Boardwalk,,,etc...) you may be able to contact them ahead of time and set something up.

Say for example you are getting married at Sea Breeze Point, in the instance, your cake would come from the Boardwalk Bakery. If you call the bakery while you are at Disney and tell them your situation, maybe they will give you some samples of what they have, or at least you might be able to taste some of the fillings if they have them around. You wont be able to do the full fledged tasting, but at least it's a shot!
