I hope you feel better soon. At least you are staying OP so the days with no exercise shouldn't impact too awful much. Good to hear the job is going well, I imagine it is overwhelming and maybe that's why you got sick from the new stress you think? You'll get settled soon!

I sure hope you start feeling better.. never any fun to be at work and not feel good. On the work subject I would take it as a compliment that they felt so confident in your abilities that they gave you all her stores and responsiblities. Just dazle them with getting it done right and where can you go wrong.

Sorry you're still not feeling well. That is great that you are liking this job. Things seem to be falling into place. It stinks that you spent most of the day cleaning up her messy area. Get better soon!

Day 27

Well, I feel a lot better than I did yesterday. I slept for 9 hours last night, but still felt exhausted when I woke up, so I skipped breakfast and just layed in bed for about a half an hour. Then, I forgot to bring my lunch! So, I was hungry when it was break time, and I ended up buying a plate of goodies that we were selling. I bought Ritz crackers w/peanut butter covered w/chocolate. And I felt bad for eating them, but what was worse they made my stomach hurt. I guess I am not used to chocolate anymore. I have not had any sweets other than WW desserts since I started this program. Even when I have broken my diet I have always made sure not to eat sweets or drink anything except water. At lunch, I ran to the store and bought a WW meal. I decided I would rather eat healthy than have another stomach ache. Well, I actually was able to get some work done today. The only problem I had was that the girl who had the store before me left things very unorganized. It really affected what I was doing for the first 2 hours this morning. There is a folder for each store where we keep track of errors in their reports. When we give them an audit correction sheet, we include those errors. Then, we make a slash through the error sheet and make a note that it has been taken care of and on what day it was taken care of. Well, most of the errors are resolved w/in a month. My stores had errors in their folders from April! She did not make a note that the errors had been resolved so I wasn't sure if they had or not. So, I told the woman that has been training me and she said she will have to look through it and do some searching to see what is okay and what isn't. So, that really messed up what I had been planning to get done today. But I improvised and came up with Plan B. I worked store reports instead of their audits for the rest of the day. I managed to catch 3 of the 4 stores up almost all of the way. They were a month behind. Now they are only a week behind. The 4th store is really disorganized! They did not send all of their paperwork and it was a hassle trying to track everything down , so they are still nearly 3 weeks behind. But I caught them up about a week so that worked out some anyway. I hope tomorrow to have these stores nearly caught up completely. I hope by Fri. that the error situation has been fixed and that I will be able to catch their audits up too. Well, that is my work goals for the rest of the week anyway. My WISH goal for the rest of the week is to stay OP and hopefully get some exercise in...even if it is only 1 day of exercise. I am feeling a lot better today, but I am still really tired. And Scott and I have to go somewhere in about half an hour, so I know I will not get any exercise in again. I also will not get to Journals tonight. But I hope everyone had a great day! I give today only 3 sunnies, for lack of exercise and for eating those chocolate covered crackers. I am cutting myself some slack though since I did eat OP at lunch when I didn't have to. :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:
 

Tasha, I'm glad that you're feeling better today! It sounds like you got a ton of work done today. I bet you will be caught up and meet your goals when Friday gets here. ::yes::

Well Tasha considering that your job sure sounds stressful today & the fact you didn't feel good. I can imagine going off plan for a meal or snack.
Its only a day.

Don't you hate cleaning up other people's messes? I'm doing that at work as well. Ok..you slipped slightly on the snack but you did have the strength to go out and get a WW meal for lunch. That took alot of strength in my book. Good going!!
 
Tasha, it sounds like you made the most of a bad situation yesterday! Good for you! You made good choices considering what was available to eat. ::yes::

I bet you're feeling better and better about work as the days go by. It sounds like you're making real progress - actually DOING the job! That's wonderful, considering how short a time you've been there! I'm glad it's working out!

Day 28

I am sorry to disappoint you guys today after all of your kind words about yesterday, but I did terrible today! I overslept and didn't get breakfast. Then at lunch the other "new girl" and I ran to the store. We had to pick up a few things and I had to get Scott some medicine...he is getting a cough now on top of everything else. I had brought my lunch today but wouldn't have had time to heat it up and then sit down and eat it. All we had time to do by the time we were done running errands was go through a drive through and eat on the drive back. Now I know I could have eaten a salad, but honestly, I hate Fat free dressing, and regular dressing is not much healthier than a meal...so a meal it was. I ate a Big Mac meal. That totally threw off my entire day. We ate Captain D's for dinner. I think the stress of today just totally threw me for a whirl. I was a little overwhelmed at work. I was told about 10 new things that I am going to have to learn on top of the other 50 things I have yet to learn. That and the error folders still have not been fixed so I couldn't do my audit corrections today. I did manage to catch up 2 of my 4 stores on store reports though. Actually one of my stores is caught up on not only on reports but also on their audits so I am able to concentrate on the other ones besides it for the remainder of the week. So, hopefully that will help my stress level decrease significantly. And, no, I still did not get my exercise in. I think I might drop out of the exercise challenge. It doesn't seem like it is going to happen for me this month. Maybe next month will be easier since I will be used to this job and routine more. Well, then again, I start going back to school again (full-time) on Aug. 23rd. So, I will not only be going to work full-time but also school full-time! Boy, I am ready for a vacation just typing this...lol. Well, wish me luck tomorrow. Today is a 0 sunny day! Pray I do better tomorrow. I will try to get to journals by tomorrow night. I almost forgot to post tonight, and now I have to go to bed so I won't oversleep again. Good night! :wave2:

I wouldn't drop out of the challenge just yet. There is still plenty of month left. So maybe you won't reach your entire goal, but then again, maybe you will. I wouldn't give up on it just yet. :)

Everyone has there rough days....remember concetion stand duty got me. When your thrown in these situations its hard. But keep it up your still doing great. Don't drop from the challenge anything is better than nothing.

Tasha...I agree that you shouldn't drop out of the exercise challenge...even if you can't make the full amount (which you still might) get as close as possible! You really have a lot going on now..and it looks like a lot more later on. Exercise is not only to lose weight...it's a stress reliever! So, think of it as that! You can force yourself to put in 15 minutes on the treadmill! It can help clear your head! Don't give up!

Days 29-32

Hey, everyone! Sorry I have not posted the past few days. Yes, I am fine. I have been really busy and have not even been on my computer once since the last time I posted. Well, I did not weigh Friday. I woke up late and skipped breakfast and went to work. I did not even think about weighing until yesterday. But I decided not to weigh b/c I did not do well this week and knew I probably gained. I really don't need that kind of discouragement right now. As far as work, things have really sped up the past week. I managed to get completely caught up on all of my stores except the one that was giving me trouble. It had a lot of problems and I had brought it to the attention of several of the people I worked with but nobody took me seriously. Finally, Friday, somebody else I worked with had to look at it to find something they were looking for and they said, "Wow! Tasha, this store's paperwork is really, really messed up!" I said, "Thank you! I was wondering if anyone else would ever reallize it besides me." After she said something about it, then they finally realized how serious it was. Oh, well, I guess since I am still new, they don't think I know what I am talking about 100% yet. On the bright side, maybe they will take me seriously next time. The girl that was training me ended up getting stuck trying to fix the problems w/my store all day Friday which I am sure got her behind on her own stores. But I had brought it to her attention Tues. and Thurs. and was not taken seriously until Friday so I did all I could do.

On another note, I don't feel like I have as much time now that I am working, which I know is understandable. I also start back to school a week from tomorrow. So, please don't worry about me if I don't get to post more than once a week or once every other week. Things are starting to get chaotic and I am just going to do the best I can to give weekly or biweekly updates. But I am okay. I am very happy with my life right now...weight issues and all. So I hope that will ease your minds. I didn't do well staying OP this week but I didn't do terrible either. I haven't done any exercise though unless you count all of the running errands I have had to do after work lately. I also have another issue on my mind right now. But I am not going to get into that until I know more about it. I will let you know when I have more info. But it is nothing terrible, so don't worry. The past four days I will say averaged to about 3 sunnies.

Sounds like work has been a mixture of good and bad lately. I'm glad that they finally got someone working on fixing that store for you. Hopefully they will all be straightened out soon and you will just have to do your normal daily work.

I think you have been doing your best considering all the pressures you are under right now.

I think we all will understand completely if you don't have the time to post as frequently. We sure will miss you though and will look forward to hearing from you whenever you can give an update. Know that our thoughts are with you and we wish you only the best in every aspect of your life. :hug:
