TA's charging for Best Rate "research"?

WOW... I haven't heard that TA's are charging research fees. I know we haven't been when we have booked both of our vacations through Magical Memories. None of the TA's we requested quotes from mentioned one either

I got my quote today from Dreams Unlimited. $277 for 1 night at AKL. I don't think so. It said no AP rates have been released past October 2005. I thought they were out for December already? Guess I was wrong. Oh well, things always work out for the best. DH & I decided to go a day earlier, so now we want 2 nights at POFQ instead of 1 at AKL. Thanks again all...
