Once we got back to the resort, we found another towel creation!! I can't believe how lucky we were to get these everyday, mousekeeping good job!
I think we were scheduled for the 7:15 show so we took a nap for like an hour and a half before we got back up so we could head to the bus stop. We had to get there around 6:45, but for the life of me I can't remember the exact time we left the resort. I want to say we went to the bus stop at 5:45. I told Andy we would get on the first bus that arrived, Epcot, MK or DTD. DTD disney arrived first so we hit that bus. Then we got off and got back on the Fort Wilderness bus. Once we got there we had to get onto a Fort Wilderness bus that would take us to the Hoop De Doo.
All in all we pretty much arrived right on time, so I definitely say allow yourself an hour to get there if you are using Disney transportation. We checked in and were seated maybe 10 minutes before everything was scheduled to start. We got an awesome seat on the second floor in the dead center of the room. We could see anything and everything that went on! The gang came out and the show began. Waiting at our table was salad and cornbread. Andy got his all you drink beer started and I just got a coke:
After they preformed a few numbers, they took a break so we could get all our food and eat. They brought out BBQ ribs, baked beans, chicken, and mashed potatoes.
Before we finished eating, the crew came back out and performed some more numbers. At one point they went around finding all the people celebrating anniversaries or honeymoons. Of course one of the cast found us and made us stand. Then he took a picture for us.
At some point they made everyone wave their napkin in the air. It looked really cool and the picture actually doesn't do it justice.
It was finally time for dessert and they brought out some amazing strawberry shortcake! Oh my gosh it was good.
It was time for the final number so they brought out these washboards for every table and man did I go to town on this thing!!
Once the show was over, Andy and I were sad! We didn't want to leave. The food was awesome, the show was entertaining and kept us laughing all night long. My husband had plenty of beer! It was his favorite thing we did the whole trip and said he would come back in a heartbeat. A+ from us!
After the show I kept thinking of the long journey home but they actually had buses to take people back to their resorts waiting there for us! How nice that they can do that! I don't know if this happens in the busy season, but we appreciated it. We were the last to be squeezed on and the bus made like 3 other stops before ours. Once we got back we hit the bed and got some good sleep.
