target westinghouse tv?

What is your opinion about the 46 in Westinghouse tv target is selling for $298.00 black friday? We have a 32 inch Vizio love the tv but way too small.

I can speak on the 40 inch they had last year.

It's hanging on our bedroom wall right now. We did get a wall mount that you can either hang the tv flat or tilt. We have ours tilt mounted wich is perfect for laying in bed.

The picture is GREAT ! Very clear, very clisp, no hazing or fuzziness. Now being that said you do have to mess with the setting to get it to look the way you want. I's not going to look perfect our of the box.

The audio is TERRIBLE. It's about a good as a radio alarm clock. We have ours hooked up to a DVD surround sound and use only the surround sound on it.

While the picture on it is wonderful, I would only purchase it knowing that the audio is poor and most likely would have to be hooked up to surround sound.

They had the Westinghouse 32" a few weeks ago for $199. We thought about it for DD's room, but the reviews weren't great for Westinghouse. Sounds like a great price for that size.

I have the 32" westinghouse (target BF deal from 2 years ago) and it is great. Picture and audio perfect.

That's the only BF item I want but don't want to risk my life with in standing in line. I wish I could find something like this on BF on-line shopping.

The audio issue is because the speakers are on the back of the unit not on the sides. If you purchase any tv like that you may also want to purchase a set of external speakers, a sound bar or a home theater in a box system.

We have a Westinghouse too and it's a great tv. Never one bit of trouble!

We had a westinghouse a few years ago. Died after 3 years of modest use, then Best Buy wouldn't honor the extended warenty we bought (but that's a complaint for a different thread). After that we bought a refurbished Sharp and have been very happy.

thanks for the replies..for the price I went for it..I bought it and will see if I can get a price adjustment black friday or saturday. If I can get get a adjustment in price I will return it.
