Target Visa -Only Disney GC?

Thank you to everyone on this thread about the information with the target visa, pharmacy rewards and Disney gift cards. I am wondering if anyone tried this scenario with Southwest airlines gift cards? My target carries $50 Southwest gift cards, it would be nice to be able to combine the 5% and 5% and lower my airfare. Or even better yet, the 20% coupon that you can earn by shopping on Black Friday. I guess I'm wondering if anybody knows if the Southwest airlines gift cards are coded entertainment cards in their system?

Southwest cards are coded as entertainment cards at Target BUT... Southwest will only allow 4 forms of payment, and they consider each GC a different form. You can still get some savings if you are willing to book each ticket individually, but then you'd have to check in each person separately, Southwest style.

So, if I wanted to deal with the hassle I could use 3 gift cards & pay the remainder on credit card for 4 firms of payment?

That's what I did. And there were 5 of us so I broke us into a group of 3 and group of 2.

And i ordered one way tickets so that I could use 12 cards.

Doesn't SW have cards that are $200 or $250? Does Target carry these cards?

This would be a great deal for me as we fly SW all the time, so even using one or two cards on a ticket would be a savings.

I haven't seen them that large at my Target or Kroger.
