Target toy clearance !

50% off here and only 30% on candy. The crackers and other things were marked seperately and only a little bit off.

I'm starting to think these threads are a DIS joke. :rotfl2: Twice now I've read a thread about Target clearance, twice I've ran to the store and twice I've left with nothing. :headache: I'm kidding of course. Congrats to those that have stores that have clearance, obviously the Targets near me have made a new year resolution to not have a decent clearance this year. :confused3

:)

I noticed that this was written:
I go almost everyday so I don't miss the change.

When someone goes every day, they know what's happening...just going every so often, you don't know if they've finished it but everything is sold, if they are about to start marking things down, or if they just aren't doing it. Gotta keep checking. :)

I went on the 26th, 27th and 29th, and I'll be going to a different Target tonight. I've given up on the one by me. I think 3 trips is to check for clearance is enough for me. Even the Mickey plates and stuff that were said to be on clearance on another thread were full price at my Target. They are now putting out new toys so it doesn't look like there's going to be the big clearance markdown. The online prices are still half of what the same item is in this store. Even our local walmart that usually has an amazing after Christmas clearance has none this year. I'm going to try another Target tonight and see if the prices are lower. I really wish they would just mark them down equally. If I wasn't going to be out by the other Target tonight I probably wouldn't bother.

Mine is still 50% off; they said they won't be 75% til Sunday. Who knows if anything will be left for 90% off.

But, Walmart is now 50% off.

Target here in West Palm Beach, FL had christmas at 70% off (and I used my Target Red card for additional 5% off). Bought some nice things but did not go as overboard as I did last year! Toys still around 30-50% off. Got excited when I saw the Mickey Rock Star until I saw he was only marked down to $34.99 (not the $15 other poster got it for). Doubled checked and scanned as sometimes sticker price has not been updated - nope $34.99.:santa:

Couldn't stand it anymore and made a tour of my local Target stores....Rock Star Mickey $34.99 at all of them. Mickey plates, cups and server bowls are regular price no mark downs here. Best deal I finally found was on Littlest Pet Shop's Pet Jet for $19.99 it's normally $40.

Anyone in the Johnson County part of Kansas City here's the run down I found.

Toys were all the same price at all the local Target stores. Pretty much the same selection, give or take a few.

The Target at the Legends was the only local store to have 70% off Christmas.

Target....63rd and Metcalf, 95th and Quivera, 119th and Blackbob, 119th and Metcalf and 151st and Antioch. All 50% off Christmas and barely 30% off most toys, some toys were marked 70% off but I didn't see any that actually were. :confused3

No I haven't lost my mind, at least completely. I ended up having errands to run it seemed by most of the Target stores so I figured I'd just drop by so I didn't have to wonder if I'd missed the "one" that had a decent sale going.

Hopefully Walmart will find their pricing gun here soon, because I seem to have the best luck there. I did see if anyone is looking for a Step 2 kitchen they had the ones that are normally $74 on clearance for $34.

I will have to check out our local Target stores. I remember this kind of sale taking place last year (50-75% off) so I hope they will have some nice markdowns this year. Although I don't think I can take looking at any more toys at this point, two of my children have birthdays coming up within the next few months so this sale would be great for saving on some birthday gifts.

DD bought the LPS pet jet for $19.99 with her Christmas money. She was pretty excited. I bought some LPS playsets at 50% off that I'll save for b-day gifts for DD or use as gifts for friends.

I was surprised at the selection available in the clearance aisles at this particular Target. The other one, nearer my house, didn't have much to choose from. Christmas is still 50% off, but there's a lot left. I couldn't believe how much was there.

I happened to luck into the Mickey bowls! The sales person was straightened the end cap where they were and I asked her if they were marked down because she had one of those pricing guns. When she checked, she said no they were still full price but it showed they were discontinued. I decided to break down And buy one of the red mickey icon shaped ones as I have redone my kitchen in red and I really wanted one and figured it was only $10 And I'd be sorry I didn't buy it later. Well, when I checked out, it rang up $4.99!! I had DD run back and grab the others! For that price I can use them as gifts I was surprised that the black one was $4.99 too! I was thrilled that I decided to not to be a cheapskate, LoL! :goodvibes

Went back to Target to get those Mickey bowls! Got 4 black and 1 red for $2.99 (regularly $9.99) and the big Mickey popcorn bowl for $2.99 as well (regularly $14.99). The two pink Minnie Mouse bowls rang up for $9.99 so put those back.

The TOY clearance sale is different from the CHRISTMAS clearance sale. This thread is confusing the 2. Christmas stuff is 70% off. Toys (found in the regular toy aisles not the Christmas toys in the Christmas section) are 30-50% off and won't be marked down to 70% off for a few more weeks.

Anyone from NJ been and know what our targets are currently at for Christmas and toys?

NJ here....70% off of Christmas stuff, but still only 30% off of Christmas candy, go figure.

Toys are mostly 30% off and I saw a very few that were 50% but that's it.

Went to another Target and there toys were more than the other two I reported... All the toys at this location were at least 3-5 more than the other two.

Tried to sneak a couple of these today and see if they were ringing up different than they were priced. Had the red and black serving bowls and the hand shaped dishes. No such luck. Full price. :headache: So I sent them back.

Been to 3 targets today. Don't ask DH's fault. LOL :goodvibes

Marlton, NJ: Dollar spot 70% Off Yellow Dot, 30% Off toys, 50% Off Christmas

Cherry Hill, NJ: Dollar Spot 50% Off Yellow Dot, 30% Off toys, 50% Off Christmas

Voorhees, NJ: Dollar Spot 50% Off Yellow Dot, 30% Off toys, 50% Off Christmas

You rock! I'm going to check Delran and Mt laurel

Stopped at Target with DS today because he decided he really wanted a Zoobles playset we saw yesterday that was 50% off. In the clearance aisle I found 2 Monster High dolls, Abbey (with her pet) and Lagoona and my heart stopped. No way would I get that lucky! I had been looking high and low for Abbey since Thanksgiving! I used the price scanner and of course, they were still regular price. I couldn't really believe that they would already be in the clearance aisle, but you just never know!

I was also pretty shocked that Target even had Monster High dolls in stock. They either must have been returns because they weren't there yesterday or they got a shipment this morning. Either way, DD now has Abbey and is over the moon!
