Target Toy Clearance

I also went to Target today, and did pretty good. I got the set of 7 Disney princesses for $30 (usually $60, but I couldn't pay that) and a Littlest Pet Shop playhouse for $8.50. I may pick up that Ulta Spike Dinosaur as my son's BIG XMas present--it was at $65. The toys were in their own aisle, marked "30% off and up" or something like that. Most were 50% off, with a few 75% off. Everything I got was 50%.

On a side note, they had some 90% XMas stuff too. I got Hershey Kisses for .29, a Santa Potato Head for .69, and a XMas tree magna doodle for .59, and cookie mix for .39. All in all a good trip.

Now, about that dinosaur...

I went to Target yesterday and most of the stuff was 50%, a few still 30% and a couple 75%. I was able to get the Rocky the Robot Truck for $20 and a baby achoo for my niece for $13.50.

There's another Target nearby that I want to try and get to this weekend. I was able to get some great discounted toys this summer so I'm hoping they'll have a better selection and already marked down to 75% off!

Walmart has Spike for $59.50 if you can find any still left in stock at your local store...

Are you able to post the DCPI # from your receipt for Rocky? I know my son would love this for his birthday! Thanks!

My Target has already salvaged Christmas and I found a bunch of Nick&Norah Christmas pj's in the baby section and they wouldn't scan, so when I asked how much they were, they told me they weren't for sale and they were salvaged and took them. There were about 15 sets. Bummer.

Toys had some 75% off this morning but when I went back at 2, the shelves were empty!! I got the Lionel Christmas Story train set for $38 (vs 158 I think), a few Lego sets at 50% and some baby toys for $2, oh and the Christmas Tag Jr book was $6 (50%).

I went to the one closest to me yesterday and the toys were still at 50% off.

What was left is nothing my kids would be interested in so I'm not going to keep checking anymore.

They had set up the new "warehouse" section in the area where the christmas stuff was. I hated it. It looked awful. If I want a bunch of large packages of stuff, I'd go to a warehouse club.

I know they just put the warehouse section in, but I am already tired of it. It looks so cheap. I hope they aren't trying to head in some new direction with that or something.

I'm not sure what the DCPI # is...if it's the number to the left of it on the receipt then the # is 087070121

Our Target had a toy clearance aisle. Most of the stuff was marked 50% off, a few items were marked 75% off. Mostly preschool toys, not much for older kids. I hope they add more as I was disappointed in the selection. Last year there were remote control vehicles in there and I picked up a few. :sad1:

Remember to scan the things you are really interested in--sometimes they don't retag when the price drops. Chances are good that the toys will go down later this week.

Stopped into Target to check on the toys and picked up a few items. Two aisles of stuff left at my store.
But...although the signs said 50% off, some of the prices still seemed high to me. (Probably why there's so much left!) They had a Snow White doll that I liked but she was still $23. (I did scan her). What was the original price?
$46 for a barbie doll? Yikes!! I'm guessing she wasn't 50% off! Must have been only 30%.

But, I've done really well at these sales in the past, so hopefully it'll hit 75% soon!

I was at a local Target today..the clearence was pretty picked thru and was only 50%...with a few mixed in at 75%. they had 1 Spkie left at 50% off, but I put it back. My son will be 5, and DH wants to get him a bike (like we did for his brother when he truned 5). Had it been $30 or even $40 I would have gotten it....oh well!

I'm just hoping all that stuff goes on clearance when the idea gets old...:rolleyes1

Friday, I picked up a Playmobil knight set with figures and sword/shield for the child for $15 as a gift for a party this week. Snow White with the kitchen (Barbie-type doll) was $12.50, so I picked it up for DD's birthday in March. Got 2 GeoTrax sets for $20 all together, and the LP Nativity that I scoured the store for before Christmas and called every day on with no luck was there marked down to $12.50, so we got it for DS for next Christmas when he is 2. I think they were all 50% off. Yesterday, there was hardly anything left escept for some toddler toys, and the regular Lego aisle was almost completely empty except for 3 boxes of Bionicle toys. I don't know what was up with that. DH thought I was nuts for spending so much on toys right after Christmas, but with birthdays coming up, we'd have to get presents anyway, so I might as well save a bit overall. Some of their baby clothes were marked down to 75% off, and I scored a few Carter's two-piece sets for my sister's new baby for $2.25 each. I agree that the new "warehouse" section looks totally tacky. I wouldn't be sad to see it go.

I went this am and nothing new!:rotfl: What time of day do they start marking it down??:confused3

I was just there yesterday (1/12). The clearance toys were still either 30% or 50% off. No 75% at all. I agree with the prices, too. I know I'm cheap, but some of the prices seem crazy high even at 50% off.
