Target returns without receipt

I bought a bunch of clothing for other family members on clearance. They don't fit well and I need to return them.

I haven't found the receipt but I did purchase them with my Target debit card.

Is that considered the same as having a receipt since they can look them up?

At my Target the last time I returned w/o receipt (even though I used Target card), they returned to a Target gift card.

They can look up the transaction using any debit/credit card and refund it to that card as long as its within 90 days.

I will see if I can find the receipt, but I think I tossed it.

Stopping by this week to return so I will report back when I do, probably Wednesday as I will be over there then.

Also, if you use a Target Red Card, (debit or credit) you have an extra 30 DAYS to return items, instead of the usual 90days. Love that!

Anytime they look up a transaction with a credit, debit card, or a check, it's considered a "receipt" return. They can also look it up if you paid with a gift card provided you still have the gift card.

So, yes it is.

If they have to use your license to authorize the return, then that is considered a no receipt return.

Returned everything today without any problem.

Now I have a new problem! I purchased 5 General Mills cereals and was meant to receive a $5 Target gift card with purchase. I didn't get it and I didn't realize it until I got home.
