Target Red Card Payment Options

thinking about signing up for a Target Red Card for the 5% discount, etc.... What are their bill payment options - can you pay online?

You don't have to get a credit card you can get the Target Red Card Debit Card and it comes out of your bank account. To sign up in store you need a blank check.

Yes you can pay online. I think you can pay in the store too. At least you used to be able to. I was with my mother in law when she paid her card in the store.

If you get the credit card then you can set up the account online and make a payment that way. You can also make a payment in the store or wait till you get your statement and mail a check. If you sign up for the debit card then you do not have to worry about making a payment as they will automatically withdraw the purchase amount from your checking account. You can also set up automatic payments with the credit card as well.

I have the credit card, and I have mine set up on autopay so the full balance is paid from my checking automatically each month.

You can pay in-store or thru the site online. However, just be advised that although your payment may show as paid, it may not show as 'credit available' for weeks. I have had this problem several times. I made an online payment thru the 'manage my redcard' site, it came out of my checking account that day but still hasn't been added to my 'credit available'.

However, I made another cash pmyt in store and it showed up within an hour and shows that amt as 'credit available'.
Normally this wouldn't be a problem as I never carry a balance. But I was going to use my credit available to buy more disney gc's for our upcoming trip. uggh. Been almost 2 weeks since pmyt made and still not showing as credit available. Thankfully for me, I also have a debit redcard. So I can just use that to get the cards at a discount.

Just wanted you to be aware of that issue in case it happens to you.
