found our local Target had remodeled and expanded their
grocery/frozen/dairy departments. I was quite pleased
with some prices of the things I saw they have in stock.
I actually work for a supermarket company that a PP has
mentioned (and I think I know the Wegmans/Target plaza
and
Walmart in the next town she is talking about)

I like to support myself by shopping in my own company's
store, but have no problem buying things elsewhere if
they're cheaper and it's not out of my way. (I am a total
budget shopper so I do know my prices)
There is major competition in the area where I live, with
Aldi's, Pathmark, Walmart (not a super but does have some
groceries/frozen/dairy products), A&P, Shoprite and Target
on the same highway within a few mile stretch of each other.
Bottom line: I guess it depends on where you live if your local
Target store has good prices.
