Someone on here once said Target has a $100 cover charge... Dang if that's not the truth! I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've gotten out of there w/ spending under $100

WOW...(hahaha) when I FIRST read this...I thought DAMN...I know my kids are 23 & 20 but have diapers and formula prices SKYROCKETED....

Then I realized what you actually meant....

Happens to me every time I walk in to TARGET...had an occasion to actually NEED a second cart....now that is scary!!!

Oh, my gosh, this exact thing happened to us a few weeks ago - went in for Turbo Tax and some toilet paper and came out $150 later!

We just came back from Target also went for one thing and ended up spending $191.00.

Okay - the $100 cover charge is TRUE!!!
I went to buy a dress for my daughter ..... $92.00 later, I returned to work.
I went to buy a FEW Easter basket stuffings ...... $95.00 later.....
-- OH, almost forgot to say BOTH those trips were THIS WEEK!!!

Yeah, Target is EVIL allright ...... (they just keep building stores close to my proximity!!)

sitting here in my Target skirt and Target t-shirt drinking from the glass I bought at Target. In a few minutes, I'll put on my Target flip flops and go to DD's school to help hide the plastic eggs I bought...

I knew it had to be a mistake...I scrutinized the receipt...nope...no mistake...

The worst part is there was absolutely nothing in the cart for me!!!

Can you believe I just made it out from Target for under $30. I think that was the first time ever. And I think the only reason it happened was because I was hungry and couldn't concentrate on my shopping.

Shoot!! I still have stuff to get and that was on my potential list of places to go today but I don't *HAVE* the $100 cover charge!! (OH, wait..I do have the Disney Visa )

Maybe I'll stick with the corner store today...it's safer.

I do pretty well at Target but Im what they refer to as a "perimeter shopper" I snag all the clearance.... whether I need it or not...

That is so weird! I just said the EXACT same thing to my step daughter and my step daughter-in-law last weekend. I just don't get it. They don't even play music. (Perhaps it would interfere with the subliminal messages they are broadcasting that we can only hear subconsciously???? "You must have it, buy it, it is beautiful and shiny, you deserve it, buy it....) Maybe WE are the targets.

At least when I go to my Super Walmart, I expect to pay that much. I go there with a long list. I go to Target with three things in mind and always come out with a guilty, what the heck did I do feeling and bags o' stuff.

At least I know I'm not alone!
