Target has a portable DVD player on clearance 75% off

our target (IL.)had 2 just sitting on the shelf, portable 5" detach dvd player already marked down to $99. ( 1) disney dvd player red, the one that went under the tv for $48.98. i passed on both.

The Targets in West Mifflin and Homestead, PA both had about 5 of the 5" players if anyone is interested in those (none of the 7" )

Everett, MA has 6 of the 5" extra screens for $99 and 2 of the 5" DVD systems at $124. They had 2 types of 7" Eddie Bauer DVD systems, but neither matched the OP's SKU and they were behind the case so I couldn't scan them and didn't have time to call over anyone. They had 3 of one (marked $349.99) and one of another (marked $299.99).

Well every Target in KC is sold out! I went to two differnet stores tonight because the computer said they had them but the employees couldn't find them. I figured I'd check myself but had no luck. I did find the 5" ones for $124 but really wanted a 7". If anybody happens to get lucky and finds the 7" for $99 I would more than gladly pay shipping if you would get me one. My daughter really wants one as we travel so much for dance.

OK kfeuer, you are my absolute HERO!!!!

I wanted to buy one of these for my flight so bad but didn't want to put out the $$$. (I'm a petrified flier and thought this might help) I got the 7" (last one) for $99 and the headphones for $7.50 each, last two.

y'all are so smart!! Our target only had the 5" too, and I couldnt find out if it was battery, came here, and doesnt look like it!! Thanks for continuing my education!!

The computer system said they had one 7" but I would have to "find" it... lol, I looked, but I figured it was stashed somewhere by someone working there!! I tried tho, asked 3 different people too!!

Now I did find a Mickey Mouse TV, and a pink princess dvd player on sale!! only 30% off tho!!

I have the 5 inch one in a bag by my door, not opening it up yet. curious about the battery issue mentioned arlier... the thing is huge and heavy - why wouldn't there be a batery inside?

If you are in the Vero Beach, FL area, the Target there is supposed to have 2 of the 7inch ones in stock - she wouldn't tell me the price.

nope- no battery in the 5" one.

But I have enough stuff to keep the kids busy on the plane. I think this will be great for my mini-van!
It has a nice picture and I think it will be a great start for us since we aren't really into having the newest and greatest when it comes to electronics.

Both. BTW the Eddie Bauer model number is different from the Audiovox model number. Per Audiovox:

Really???

I was told that if items went "on sale" within 14 days one could get the sale price, but that it did NOT include CLEARANCE items.

Does anyone know for sure?

Generally, they won't do a price adjustment on clearance. You may get lucky and get one but it's not usually done.

I called all of our local Target stores and they were old out. I'm leaving next week and driving from Virginia to Orlando. I wouldn't mind stopping and looking along the way. Is there an "800" number for Target that could check inventory? The local people didn't seem too anxious to help.

My Target had one 5" model left but for $124. With the personal units going for $199 regular price, it didn't seem worth it to me. THanks for the heads up though I did get some other great Clearance deals :
