Does anyone know when Target puts their Halloween "stuff" on sale? Is it today since it is Halloween or starting tomorrow (day after Halloween)?

TIA! :)

I was at my Target this morning and Halloween stuff was still regular price. All of their "stuff" usually goes half off the morning after the actual holiday! :)

With Halloween, I would expect any markdowns until tomorrow. People will most likely be stopping after work to pick up candy.

"Halloween" in my town has been moved to tomorrow night (trick or treating will take place on Friday night due to the chance for severe weather during trick or treating hours).

So... should I hold off and stop and get more candy tomorrow instead of stopping tonight???

I was at target today and nothing was on clearance yet with the exception of the $1 items at the front that were fall themed.

I would, however if it is affecting the whole area, they may hold of the markdown as well.

I made the mistake of stopping by Target for candy on the way home a few years ago - nearly empty shelves. I think that year I ended up handing out Mounds Bars.

Target in my area has gotten very good at managing inventory levels. If you want Christmas wrap for cheap, you'll only find the ugly stuff at Target starting about two days before Christmas, anything that has sold well is sold out at full price and won't hit clearance. I think Target figures that if you are stopping in the day before Christmas Eve for wrap, you'll buy whatever they have - even if its incredibly ugly.

I had my eye on garden stuff this fall, it never hit what I'd consider clearance level pricing.

Same here; heard wal-mart is 50% off though.

At my store on Halloween (or Easter or valentines day) the store is totally picked over with empty shelves the couple days before. By the day after everything is gone with no sale and new displays set up. I'm sure today it will be all Christmas and valentine displays at my local store already.

I was at target today (Friday) and everything is marked down. Candy is only 30% I think, but costumes and stuff were 50% off. I got my on an iron man costume for dress up for $5.

It always seems like my target has items that are just on clearance. I've been through that store several times during October, yet there is still stuff that shows up on the clearance racks that I never saw before!! Happens with every holiday.

Ours was 30% off candy and 50% off decor, costumes, non-food items, etc. I was hoping to score some goldfish but they rang up full price. Seems some of the non-candy Halloween type foods aren't getting marked down much if at all. All I got was paper towels, tissues and napkins and some dog treats that were in that section.

I bought two Halloween kids plates 50% off and a set of skeleton lights for 50% off. Everything else was picked over including the costumes. Last year I managed to get a bunch of costumes for dress up at 90% but that was about a week after Halloween.

Stopped by today, found a new bowl to pass out candy for 50 cents, Goldfish crackers and kleenex were 50% off but oddly, the Bounty paper towels were still full price. Oh, and the bagged Legos in the little Halloween toy section were also 50% off so I grabbed some for stocking stuffers. Ours had TONS of boy superhero costumes, but nothing for girls. Much smaller selection than in previous years.

I bought a couple packages of orange and black solo cups for $1.50 / pack but everything else was picked over.

This thread reminded me to go to Target tonight to check out what they had left. I ended up getting some toys in the Halloween section for 1/2 off. They had Star Wars light saber, Jengo Fett gun and Ninja sword. My son will like them. They can be great Christmas gifts too!! Also got a beautiful Snow White dress for my daughter, some window cling ons and the bounty paper towels were 50% off too. Great deals!!!

I noticed this year all food items started at 30% off. I know for the past few years bagged candy started at 30% off but other food items started at 50% off and went to 90% off. This year it looks like the highest discount for food will be 70% off. I miss the days of 90% off everything when you could walk into Target and find bag after bag of candy for $0.20 to $0.25 each. In general it seems like 90% off candy is impossible to find anymore. I used to be able to find it at CVS but they never go past 50% off on candy and Walmart near me never goes past 75% off on any seasonal merchandise.

yoshi - our walmart goes to 50% then they take it off the shelves, and according to my sources - just destroy it, not even donate it. sad but true.

headed to target today to try to pick up some paper towels. we used christmas ones we got two years ago up until this summer, bought two cases of them and they lasted forever!
