does anyone know when Target will start to markdown the Halloween items?

I was in there today and costumes were 15% off I think? So it kind of has started. But only costumes at this point in my store.

Everything is usually 50% off the day after Halloween. Get there early to get the best deals.

I was in there earlier in the week (I think it may have even been on Sunday) and they were already starting to mark them down. I want to say they were 20% or 30% off.

Sam's club today had the big life size lightup skeletons that were $89.99 marked down to $29 and the pumpkin and ghost string lights for 4.91.

On Wednesday 10/27 I was in there to pick up DD's birthday pics and saw the felt character buckets (originally $6) for $2 so I got her the Elmo one we had been coveting. :cool1: YMMV.

I was also on the lookout for the Tootsie Fruit Rolls (my weakness) but no sale on those. I'll be there Monday at 8:30 right after DS gets dropped at school...last year I laid in enough stuff at 70% and 90% off to take care of the next few Halloweens (crayons, stickers, tattoos, puzzles, etc.!) That is if I can keep my kids' hands off them! :lmao:

last year was a pain in the tush b/c candy was NOT 50% off the day after! Be careful to scan things. And costumes were already 30% off at my store.

Ours have been 30% off costumes and accessories for a week or so already. They're pretty picked through, mostly animal costumes left.

I was at ours yesterday, nothing was on clearance, a few things on sale but nothing major and honestly there were quite a few empty shelves already. They've got regular bags of candy in with the Halloween candy also. I'll probably stop by on Monday morning, I want to try to find a few bags of DBF's favorite candy for Christmas (he loves Smarties) gifts but that's really all I'm thinking of getting, altho they did have some neat pillows that had flocked skulls on them, DD14 would love that..... ;)

Went to two different ones in the last two days and most stuff was at least 50% off. But was majorly picked over.
