Target Ground Chuck .99 a pound!

I just got back from Target (went for the toy sale) they have their 1 lb packs of 80/20 ground chuck on sale for .99 a pound normally 3.09!

I asked the butcher for a case and stocked up!!

According to the little sign it is all week and all stores.

Hope it is at your store too.

You typically pay $3.09 for 80/20?!! That seems really high to me. I can EASILY find 92% lean around here for 2.49/lb at it's regular price...but I stock up when the 92% sometimes even 93% goes down to 1.99/lb.

But dang...$0.99/lb is a STEAL! Good deal!

Where is the distribution center for their meat?? I have been looking for a new place to buy beef since our major store is now carrying beef from Mexico and Canada...I live in the midwest and should be able to buy US beef.

Do you mean Super Target? Our local target has a grocery section about the size of a convenience store, and the only beef they have is lousy premade hamburgers.

Our SuperTarget's was not on sale. Was $1.89 a pound. That's really high for me, since I usually shop on base!

I went to my Super in San Antonio TX. Not on sale. Bummer. Anyone else have any luck?

I went to check it out the day it was posted an ours was $1.79 a pound.
