Target gift card

Has anyone tried to buy a Disney gift card lately? I am trying now and it says 5% off, but then when I get to the confirmation and buy page it goes back up to full price. Did Target take the 5% off gift cards now? Just bought a bunch of Target giftcards on raise and now I might be stuck.

I just checked and went as far as I could without completing the order. The 5% REDCard discount came off of the total even after I added a Target GC that covered the entire amount.

Then I go to enter gift cards and that screen says $190
I hit save and continue and the next page shows $200 (the complete order page)

No. The discount stayed. I tried it with a $50 Disney GC and proceeded up to the very point of "complete order". The final price didn't change...$47.50.

sometimes i have to enter my redcard pin click save and continu, then on the next screen towards the bottom right side click pay with a target gift card.

I ordered ebay gift cards just a few minutes ago and received the REDcard discount even though gift cards covered the whole amount. (Now, hopefully the order won't get cancelled. )

I still feel like a noob with these orders... I seem to have problems with the 5% unless I make sure a little something goes on redcard....

I've had the same problem since October, the same time I received a new Target card with the chip. If I don't put at least something on my RedCard, the 5% goes away. Prior to October I had no issues at all and paid 100% with gift cards for more than a year.

I've been purchasing the Disney GCs regularly for my upcoming trip with my Target debit card with the 5% discount with no problem. Last time was this past Monday with no problem. I do mine through MyPoints for an added value.

I go to MyPoints, click on their link to go to Target. I purchase the Disney gift card at a 5% discount and collect MyPoints at the same time.

It depends on how you do it. If you get back a modest 1% back with your CC then you save a total of 6%.

But if you were to purchase a discounted Target GC from a place like Raise for 2% (their savings are really low at the moment), then you would save about 7-8%.

And if you were to use a shopping portal (like MyPoints, as per the PP) to make your purchase on Target .com, you would get another 2%-3% back in either points or cash.

Chances are pretty high that you would not be able to apply it to a Disney GC purchase. Read the fine print on the coupon. It probably excludes GCs and prepaid Gift Cards. I know that Target did not allow the Pharmacy 5% to apply to Disney GC purchase about a year ago and Team Members can no longer apply their employee discount to GC purchases.

I doubt that you can use it for gc of any type. All the coupons Ive seen in the last year have shown gc excluded
