We are thinking of purchasing some black dining chairs from Target. Anyone else done this? Were you satisfied with quality? We have 13 1/2 year old twins so not too much abuse:)

We bought leather casual chairs from Target about 1 1/2 years ago and they are in our sitting room off the bedroom so do not get daily use and have held up great.

We got DD's white dresser there (it matched her other things perfectly) it is very nice quality, it wasn't cheap either, I'm thinking it was over $300.00 but less than the Broyhill dresser that went with the set and it looks great.

i've bought 2 things from them and they are both great. i bought an office chair (which was 250$) and a tv cabinet (150$). both of them have held up great. my parents bought a new kitchen table and chairs set, which wasn't really all that cheap (299$ to 150$ for each of the pieces) and i they love it. so far so good.

I bought a vanity for my daughter and an ugly couch for the playroom both very inexpensive but serves the purpose. I live buy the rule " you get what you pay for". Having said that I have no complaints. The couch is holding up well and the vanity is alittle fragile but she takes very good care of her things to it has held up well too. When I don't feel like investing in furniture that I want to last a life time, target works just fine for me.

We have two of targets microfiber arm chairs in our office and they are very sturdy and have held up well.

we have bought a few pieces of furniture from them, a night stand, computer chairs and other various pieces of furniture and have been totally satisfied!

DS just got a desk from "Santa" and it is suprisingly good. I also did not want to buy the expensive piece that matched his furniture. This desk matches relatively well and saved us a bunch. Oh I mean saved Santa a bunch..:lmao:

Guess I am just a little gun shy as the last dining chairs we bought (not at Target) did not hold up well at all. Want these to last at least 3-4 years.

Sounds like I'm going for it!

We have a table and chairs set we've had for 11 years from Target. We've used and abused it and I think it's held up well. One of the chairs did break and we replaced it, but a friend was leaning back on the back legs and cracked them, so I think it was more abuse than anything else.

My 14yo DD has 3 bookshelves and an armoire from Target. The bookshelves have held up wonderfully for 4 + years. The armoire has not faired as well however. I think it has not done as well because it has a pressboard back, and the door hinges have indured children swinging on it! The back is now bowed out and the door is falling off! I would just beware of buying anything made in large part of pressboard.

we bought the white dresser and armoire for DD's room (now in the guest room). Front of drawers fell off pretty quickly. Glued back on.
Does not get much use not since it's in the guest room thank goodness and glad I did not pay tons of money for them.:headache:
