Target Dollar Spot again!

I was at Target last night and they had a lot of things for scrapbooking in the dollar spot. I found little boxes full of tiny little envelopes for putting little notes in, colorful buttons, glitter in many shapes, a pack of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper (I didn't buy that one), wire hearts and butterflies, and lots of other things. You might want to check it out.

I bought buttons, metal charms, flowers and other stuff from the dollar spot. I was happy I restrained myself to only $6!

Hope there are still some of those little envelope thingys left this afternoon. It's a 2 hr. drive from here, but I have to go to Jackson for the BB finals today, so I get to swing by Target! Yoo hoo!!

I also noticed that someone on the Budget Board said the Princess Waffler at Home Depot was $9.95 in her local store, so I'm going to go there too! At that price, I'd be crazy not to!

I also want to go by Tuesday Morning. I've never been in there, but hearing ya'll talk about it, it sounds like a good place to go. There's also a new Big Lots store to check out.

The sun is shining here.....looks like a lovely day for some shopping. I'll consider myself "enabled".

(and the sun is out, roads are clear no clue why we don't have school) I had to settle for the qk free shipping/30% off on-line instead... although, may have to drag dd and friend to target this afternoon... Where in your Target are these "Dollars Spots"? I never knew there was such a place in Target, or maybe I've been looking right over it?!

In our Target it is the first thing you see when you walk in, right beside the shopping carts and next to registers. Hope this helps!

Once the snow cleared I took the kids to Target. I found all those neat little dollar items. I bought some for myself and let DD6 buy some things too. We are in the middle of remodeling and when the new craft room is done she will have her own space. We are letting her use an old desk with a hutch so she will have lots of space to store her stuff and HOPEFULLY stay away from mine! She loves to do the artsy-fartsy stuff. Right now she is putting away all her finds.

I bought some of the 12"x12" sb paper in the dollar spot last week. I figured at 10 sheets for a dollar that wasn't a bad price !

Finally got over to Target yesterday and was able to get the envelopes (I think they're vellum, but not sure). Anyway, while I was looking someone else was skillfully shopping the Dollar Spot and picking up lots of scrapping treasures, so being the newbie that I am, I asked her about some of the items that were there. She gave me a quick spill about all the things I could do with the things in the Dollar Spot, and helped me find a few things I needed. She even found a really cute package that had mini clothespins and a thread/string for a line. It was the last one evidently, so I missed out on that one. I did get a couple of packages of foam squares, the 3-D words, the little houses and shopping bags. I also bought a package of the double-sided tape, and some acid free metallic pens. I think I did well there!

Thanks for the tip on this one DIS members! I am in Target all the time, but have never checked out the dollar spot. I picked up great stuff - pretty much all that has been mentioned here.

I never did the the ABC stickers - maybe they were sold out. I did feel like the small packs of the "3-D" stickers said there were two sheets in the pack (according to the package), but there was only one. Maybe I misunderstood the packaging.

Be sure to check that you have what is stated on the package - when I was there last week, I noticed that some of the packages were a little 'light' - they are easy to open and don't appear tampered with to alert the cashiers that anything is wrong.....and it appeared as if some plastic sheets had been removed from the package and placed in another package so people were buying packages with 3 sheets in them instead of 2.

This is not a judgement, just a 'buyer beware' - make sure your little packages contain what they should.

i am so sorry i ever read this thread!! i never looked in the dollar spot at target - but after reading here about it i thought i would check it out - and decided i would limit myself to $15 - well guess what - that didnt work!!

i do however love all the things that you enableling people MADE me buy!!
