These are regularly priced at $199.00. My Target, and MANY others have them marked down to $49.99. They are Eddie Bauer Audiovox ones. Some stores have them under lock and key, others have them on the endcaps. Here is a pic from the Target site:

wow i just checked four target stores by me in long island NY and there is none, where are you that they have them? i wonder if they would ship it to me.

Humm interesting. I will have to check my store out.
We have a portable DVD player but for that price we can play the VCR tapes that we have.
That seems like a deal to good to pass up.

The Setauket store had three last week, but I posted this on mycoupons so I suspect they are gone from that store now.

Hmmm... Recently, my husband won 5 of these in a contest at work. It seemed weird at the time that the prizes were all the same. I wondered if they came from Target.

summerluvv - does the setauket target have a dollar spot, I was reading about this on another thread. If they do, can you tell me where it is located. Our friends ds works for audiovox here on LI so he always comes and shows us lots of gadgets, its amazing what they are coming out with. Guess he guess lots of samples to try out.

They do have the dollar spot! It's at the front of the store at the entrance opposite the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut. The day I went it was jam packed over there so I didn't have a chance to look much. I did get 8 packs of halloween party invites for 1.00 though, so I was pleased

JoiseyMom I often find that when I call to ask Target (or other stores) to see if they have a specific item on clearance in stock that I get bad information. I have been told "No, we don't have any of those left" and then go to the store the next day and find 5 of them. I'm not encouraging you to run to your 10 Targets, but if you happen to be near one, check anyway.

I went on Monday and bought three!

I'm not quite sure what I'll do with three but I couldn't resist!

DH actually didn't think we need it as we have a DVD player in our van but....wouldn't it be nice for the two older kids who sit in the very back? And you can hook the games up to it too!!

went to get some and they were gone BUT.......found twin airbed with rechargeable pump for $4.98. And U.S Diver snorkle gear for $14.96!! (gotta get a head start on our first ever June DCL cruise)

Thanks to Wish I lived in Fl (and summerrluvv, of course) I got the last 2 in Kingston. Had to take 2 hrs off work just to get them as they won't hold clearance and it's a 40 min. drive each way - but definitely worth it!!!! Last night I called 3 other stores who were all out.

I am always in Target & don't know how I missed it. I called them last night & they were all sold out. I stopped by there tonight on my way home just for the heck of it... there was one!!! I grabbed it. They guy in electonics said it just came in today.... must have been a leftover in their stock room or something. My daughter really wanted the DVD player, but for $50...you can't beat it... Thanks for the heads up on this one!! Oh while there, I noticed they had some cell phone auto chargers clearenced out for $1.98 if anyone can us them...

I bought one for my car and one for my son and his wife for Christmas. Of course I couldn't wait till Christmas, so I gave it to them as an early Christmas gift.
They don't have many VCR tapes, so for Christmas I will copy some of my DVD movies onto VHS. Peggie
