You make it sound like scanning your items adds an inordinate amount of time to a shopping trip. I don't think that it adds more than a couple minutes to any of my trips. Maybe it's because I'm not buying 50-60 items at a time (more like 10 or fewer different items). Or maybe it's because it has become second nature to me. I open the app and I keep it running until I've added the last item to my cart. Then I open my mobile coupons and head to the checkout. It's really not that time-consuming.
That's the difference. I very rarely only have 10 or less items when I go to Target. Usually more like 20 or 30 at least. So it would add a significant amount of time for me. Add in the fact that I would have 2 kids fighting over who was going to do the scanning and it just wouldn't work out for me. Doesn't mean that it's not the right fit for you.
