Target card 5%

Just saw on the news that target is going to be offering 5% off EVERY purchase with their target card. In hopes to get walmart customers back .

I shop there but i have to say I might get the card if I get 5% back every time, and not just when i open the account.

I just recently got the Target check/debit card and get 5% off with it at checkout. It's definitely a good deal, especially if you do a lot of shopping at Target

This is replacing the previous incentive - for every $1000 purchased on the card, receive a 10% savings coupon. I work at Target and we were told about this 3-4 weeks ago. I'm not sure when it starts. It Maine, getting 5% off will cancel out the 5% sales tax.

Well, that's great. I will start using my Target card again. We only used the Disney when we got the 5X reward points and put the Targets away. When does this start?

I was offered it at checkout...they just ran my check through the machine and it sets up a Target debit card through your checking account. It of course cannot be used anywhere but at Target and uses the same pin number as my regular debit card. It comes right out of my bank account as if I had used my banks debit card (although I have noticed it takes about 3 or 4 days to hit my bank). Since getting it i've also been getting coupons and a free digital thermometer from the pharmacy, so another little bonus on top of the 5% off each transaction.

That sounds fantastic. I use my debit card just about everywhere and would hate to use a credit card just to get the discount. I'm going to ask about this on my next Target visit.

The "Target Check Card" offers all the benefits of their in-store credit card -- except you don't have to deal with opening another credit card.

from what i heard this morning, yes, just at target.

I have to look into that target check card. that sounds awesome.

I heard that with this target credit card you will get 5% off, but it also has a 25.9% interest rate. So make sure you pay it off every month!
