Hi All!!

We usually use Coopertone Sport sunscreen.

I bought a couple of bottles of the Target brand Up and Up Suntan lotion.

Anyone use this before?? Like it??

We brought it last year on our cruise. Works wonderfully BUT it STAINS!!! My hubby's shirt's all looked yellowed around the collar where I sprayed the back of his neck. Not sure if that is the same for all sunscreens but definitely for Up and Up Sunscreen. :(

Can't speak specifically to target (we don't have one..) But we will never never buy Walmart brand again... Applied liberally and fried to smithereens....

I works great!! My son and I have very fair skin and burn very easy and we have had no issues with it. My son has sensitive skin and again no issues with break outs from it. It smells good, too. But, yes it will stain clothes.

I really like target brand. I keep several spray cans by the back door and all our softball and soccer bags have one in them. I use their lotion on my face under face powder if I'm going to a game etc. I also keep a couple of the lotion sticks handy in my purse or car for the days we have an unplanned trip to the park. My kids and I are pretty fair skinned and I haven't gotten burns when using their products. The only other sunscreen I will use is Neutragena but Target brand is cheaper and I feel works just as well. :thumbsup2

i used to get this from Target and it was great; no frills, inexpensive sunscreen....and i am a beach bum:

NO-AD Sunscreen Lotion

I've used up and up and no burns! Works well! Last year, I had a white bathing suit top and it turned yellow. I thought it was from the sun and didn't realize it was the sun block! Bummer!

Don't know about the Target brand but...went to my dermatologist this morning for a regular visit. I told her about our upcoming Disney Cruise. She said that there are two ingredients you should look for...zinc and titanium. Be sure that whatever you buy has one of them, preferably both. Just passing on that advice.

I never made the connection either, but yes, it works great, but turned DD's swimsuit yellow last summer. Serious bummer!

I buy it all the time!! :) and dh burns so easily, and he has no problems.

It worked well..:but for me ohmygod it made my face feel as if it were on fire for 30 minutes after application. No pain on my body and no sunburn anywhere despite being very very pale and I burn under fluorescents lol.

Whoa whoa. You don't use a face stick like Water Babies for your face? That way it never runs down into your eyes and never stings? And it's super small and easy to carry around? Sometimes that's all I brought with me.

Yep - it's what dermatologists put on their families! We love Neutragena Pure and Free baby for all of us and comes in a lotion and a stick. You rarely need to re-apply so you will save money there. I think the last time I used a spray sunscreen, it lasted only 3 days on a cruise - definitely not enough!

I have used target brand, smells like raid. Worked ok. Recently bought and used banana boat SPF 110. Loved it. No sunburn smells good too

For the past few years we have used either CVS or Target brand. I get the spray on in 70 SPF. We have NEVER been burned using it. My kids play in travel soccer tournaments in the Summer, which means all weekend in the sun without incident. I have never tried the ace stick as described by others, but I like the sound of it!!!

pirate: Definitely not a good thing about the sunscreens!! We have had this happen with the Coppertone Sport as well. I thought it was from us sweating in the sun until I read a post about this here on the disboards. If only I could find that post. Apparently its common with the spray sunscreens.
