I just printed my doorbusters map off the site. I'm packing my WDW bookbag with a BF survival kit and heading over at 1:30 a.m. I'm hoping to get my hands on that 40" TV for $298!!

ROFL...I actually am considering dressing up as the lady from the commercials, but didn't think it'd fit the military plan theme I've been referring to.

I just might have to break out some of Dad's old Marine supplies for this mission!

The closest Target to us is in Brooklyn, so, no. We'll be travelling with my father and his boyfriend tomorrow, so no shopping for me. I probably will be taking advantage of some Cyber Monday deals, though!

A friend of mine from high school is hoping to hit Target, the Freehold Mall and several other stores, all before 6AM.

The Target Lady freaks me out. She's got that "on the edge of desperation" quality that makes me think she'll go on a postal rampage if she can't get her Black Friday deals. Creepy!

This is the first time in a few years we've been home over Thanksgiving weekend.

But I just can't bring myself to get out of bed that early for the sales. I guess there's nothing I want that bad.

I love those Target commercials! We're heading for the mall at 4:15 to be there by 5 am. My Mom and DD17 want to leave earlier, but I reminded them that I have to be the one to stay awake to drive home while they're both snoozing!

I'm getting up at 5 tomorrow and I'll get there as soon as I can. I'm not willing to go too crazy, especially since I'm not after any of the major doorbusters. If it's too crowded I'll just head to JC Penney instead.

if you are talking about the one on rt 9..we literally just drove by there on the way home and people are already online with tents, sleeping bags etc...same for the best buy..good luck tomorrow getting everything you want..happy shopping

I have never done Black Friday. I hate crowds, no parking, long lines. Never seemed worth it to me. I'm always able to find great deals without going out in the chaos...and now with the internet...I shop alot online. BUT my sister talked me into going to an outlet mall tonight. It's about 40 minutes away and more than 1/2 the stores opened at 10pm, the rest at midnight. I agreed to ride along, keep her company, maybe it would be fun.........

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was nuts! We got there at 10pm, there was not one parking spot and it's pouring rain. They have several big lots, but every spot was taken and people were parked along the main drive. You couldn't even get out of the end of the parking aisles, it was just lines and lines of cars. The line for the Coach store was forever and it didn't even open until midnight. My sister really wanted to go to the Hush Puppies store, so I drove around while she got a pair of shoes. We tried for about 20 more minutes to find a parking spot then we just left. I was amazed. We drove past an Old Navy about 20 minutes before it opened and there was a line down the block. For $5 pajama pants? Really? I have been home a little over an hour and ordered 3 things online at a great price, all delivered to my door, why in the world would anyone fight those crazy store crowds?

Bad news: My SIL decided to join me and there's two hours left until the doors open. She's driving me crazy!!!!!!!! I just returned my book to the car

Our Target was nuts. I saw the line was wrapped around the store and I left. I hit up a few more stores and then came home where I ordered some stuff online. The problem with Target is, unlike most other stores, everything they have in store is not available online for the same price. But I'm not willing to get up any earlier so I'll just have to suck it up and deal with not getting my sherpa hoodie again this year.

It was quite an event!!!! I got there around 1:20 and the line was wrapped around the side of the store. The rush for the TV was nuts and my short self was nearly knocked down. When I felt myself going down, my foot hit the edge of a TV box and steadied me. I screamed in the process though because I knew if I'd go down, I was going to get seriously hurt. It was quite scary. A woman in a wheelchair was getting trampled, too. I couldn't get over how nuts people were!

I then went to Lowe's, Kohl's, Dunkin Donuts, and Petsmart. I got all of my Christmas shopping done and saved close to $800! Woohoo!

I am always amazed that people will trample others for these types of events. It is just awful. I know it is tough for the stores to control the crowds, but A) they need to try harder, and B) people shouldn't be so savage. I am thrilled for you that you got the deals you wanted - great job! Did you get BF deals at Dunkin Donuts too?
