Target 75% and 90% Off Christmas

Wanted to start this thread in anticipation of Target marking down their Christmas items. I always look forward to the 75% Off day. Anyone know when that might be this year?

I was there yesterday and the lowest markdown I saw was 30%. I was eyeing a fake tree to replace our old one and was not thrilled with the price. i went to KMart just to look and found an amazing tree for $50 compared to the same type of tree at Target that was $100.

I was at both Costco and Target today and got a 159.00 wooden train table with 100 pieces for 29 at Costco!!!! I have no one to give it to so will save for the food bank next year. My target had a lot of their toys marked down today and 30 percent off holiday stuff....

My Target had tablecloths and dishes 50% already this week. Trees and lights were 30%. I don't think there will be much left by the time 75% hits.

Target closest to me was at 30%, but most of the big ornaments are already gone.

I do not know the date, but the Target I went to this morning, had so much stuff left it was crazy. I am betting they will have a LOT left at 75% off, and I probably should have waited to buy anything.

I'm waiting too for those after Christmas sales. I have't seen them yet. I'm hoping for the JC Penney sales this week too! The button promotion was the BEST yet!

My Target was 50% today and decorations were prett much gone already. There was a lot of wrapping paper/bows/gift bags left though.

I did get some Hickory Farms sets though! They were in an odd place and I don't think many people had discovered them. Super excited because I love cheese and sausage and they were a great deal at half off!

Our Target this morning was 50% off bows, wrap and some decorations. Most were still only 30%, as was the candy. I got a giant roll of wrapping paper for $1.25.

I went in to buy some garland and other decorations and there was nothing - completely empty shelves. I saw the bows and wrapping paper discounted, but they didn't have any garland or decorations. I saw them pulling holiday cards off the shelves - it looks like they're not going to try to sell them at discount to clear them out, but perhaps save them for next year?

Our Target is at 50% off right now, shelves filled with plenty of wrapping paper, bows, gift bags, and some decor as well.

I went to Target last night for normal things and went to the Christmas aisle. It was all 50% off and mostly picked over. There were loads of people there sorting through things like mad.

The candy was 30% off and they had a lot of it left, but the popular stuff (Sweetarts!) were all gone.

Yes - I thought the same thing. They used to be a wonderland of cute, and fun Christmas decor. There were so many choices. I used to love when it would go 75 off...that is how I collected all my Chirstmas items I have. The last 2 years they have had little. Mostly crappy ornaments that are kmart quality. Some tree (which I no longer need) and lights (which they pack away for next year and dont discount. I think they are on to us that no one was buying the stuff at retail price and we were all waiting for their sales. They must not have been making much profit off it, because now there are just a couple aisles of mostly crappy stuff. Same thing happened with thier international furniture and decor items they used to put out after Christmas....that has gone down to almost nothing. I don't think I will even bother wiating for the Target sale this year.

Our Target didn't have any lights left, they sold out before Christmas. And yes, the "good" candy (M&M's, Girhadelli etc) was only 30% off. lol

My local Target is also out of Christmas lights and everything else on the shelves is mainly wrapping paper and picked over stuff at 30%-50% off.
