I took a friend to Target, we went to 4 different registers and each purchased 1 GC (so 8 total). Each gift card was $38 after using the $10 gift card from previous purchase + 5% RedCard. I had a Target $10 gift card left from my trip last night. So I spent $304 on $400 worth of GC.

Does anyone know what happens when you exchange an item that you used a coupon on? I got my ds 2 lego sets, but of course there is a set he wants more than the 2 I got I partially paid with a giftcard too. Maybe I should tell him to just suck it up when he opens them Christmas morning

Everyone seems to be getting $8 off $80 coupons. All I got is a $10 off $100.

I was so excited to get a $10 off $100 today! I ended up buying two more Disney gift cards.

I would like to combine these into say 10-100 cards or 5-200 cards if possible.

I printed out the coupon & I want to buy Disney gift cards. If I buy a $50 gift card I get a $10 Target gift card back. Can I use that Target gift card to buy another $50 Disney gift card? Therefore making my second purchase a $50 gift card for only $40? On the coupon I have printed out (got the link provided a few pages back) it states, "Free giftcard not valid as payment on this purchase"

Or is everyone just using there free $10 /target gift cards for purchases at Target that they would normally make?

Yes, you can absolutely do this. I used 5 of the Target gift cards I got from previous purchases to buy a $50 Disney GC AND got another $10 Target gift card.

I think the coupon means you can't use the current gift card from the current purchase to pay for it.

What I did was buy 4 $50 Disney Gift Cards and used 4 coupons all in one transaction. So total was $200 and I received $40 in target giftcards. Then I went and bought 1 $50 Disney Gift Card used my 4 $10 target giftcards and 1 coupon and paid $10 and received a $10 target giftcard

So DH & I fought a bit, he was the manager BTW. So he went to get someone above him & they only let DH & I use 1 coupon each!! So in total I got $200 of Disney gift cards for $180. Now I'm running to another Target to see what I can get!

Read the coupon. It tells you that copies are not allowed. It says right on it that you can only use one per guest per transaction. If you try to do anything that is specifically prohibited by the terms set forth on the coupon, you shouldn't be surprised if you get turned down.

In my hurried excitement I didn't realize there were different versions of this coupon!! But, I did find the Target one (ater going to the 1st store) and the coupon doesn't print. I'm not the only one its not working for, its on Facebook. I would love a link to Target where there is an actual printable coupon, please share if you have one.

Anyway at the 1st store the guy didn't want to let me use ANY of the coupons! When he explained to me they were copies, I argued at first cause I said yeah, I printed out the same coupon. It wasn't till I saw your post that it click OMG I shouldn't have printed all these out! The guys issue was they were fake coupons & he wasn't going to take them. The funny thing is when he got the higher up guy, he right away was telling him we can't take these. The higher up guy was like calm down just let them each use one coupon! So we did. We went to another Target & did the same thing. So in total we got $400 worth of gift cards & paid $360. I'm happy with that!

I went yesterday and the MediaFire one would not scan (2 cashiers). It looks like it printed normal size.

Has anyone used the MediaFire one and had a problem, or is it just me?

And the fatwallet ones? Are they scanning ok?

I went this afternoon and had no issues with the fatwallet cpns until my Target CC shut down on me for too many purchases for the day.
Don't know if I can get back tomorrow for more, as it is about a 40 min drive.

Nope, unless you are lucky and get someone nice when you call into the Disney Store (online). you cannot use the gift cards to purchase any larger gift cards either.

LOL!! My SW card has been on fire this Christmas!! Been picking up DD26 & DD27's stuff for them and they pay me back. Helps those miles add up!!

Likewise, I, too, do not carry CC balances.

We are hoping to take DGSs 4 & 6 to WDW in Jan or Feb and I figure, why not save some money?!?!? We have APs, but will have to buy their tickets and food for all of us.
I got $1000 worth of GCs yesterday for $760!!

I hope I either get back to Target today, or they run the promo again next week so I can get more. I missed it last week. So busy I didn't have time to get on here and see about it.

Actually, there is a way to tell them apart even though the coupon number is not unique. A coupon that was printed using a .pdf copy of the original image will not be the same dimensions as the original. It might be just slightly wider or longer, which makes the bar code slightly different than the original. That's why some people's coupons are not scanning.

And while some methods of abusing the coupon are possible (making copies, using 4 at a time on some clueless cashier), that doesn't make it ethical. Nor should anyone be surprised if they get turned down when they attempt to do anything that violates the terms of use.

I do a lot of couponing throughout the year. It's abuses like what some are advocating here that give couponers a bad name.
