Target $10 gc with $50 purchase coupon

Ok, help me out...

I need a $50 Disney GC. If I buy it with my RedCard (thus saving 5%), and assuming the coupon will apply, would I still get the $10 gift card, even though my total would only be $47.50???

This would be awesome! Especially since Target is less than a mile from my house!
Has anyone tried this yet?
I kind of don't want to search around for something worth $2.50 if I use my Red Card. But I guess I could stock up on bread and milk.

I found out about the coupon on a coupon website and I was able to print a ton (2 each from multiple computers at work) I went to target and got the BEST cashier EVER.... I did separate transactions and got $300, receiving $60 in gift cards. Then got another $50 card with coupon used 2 $10 gc left over then I added a $25 gc I had left over from something else and paid another $5 for the last gift card.

So I got $400 in Disney gift cards and only paid $293 for them.

And I still walked out with another $10 gc

SCORE.

I still have 4 coupons left to use this weekend to buy grocerys.

I am in awe! :worship:

Make sure your Java is up to date, and enabled, and that you accept popup windows. For me, the Java was old.

When you click on the "Print" and it says it's processing, look down at the bottom of the page. In little nondescript font it says "update plugin" or "activate plugin". Click that and it will take you to Java so you can update. Once that's done, an applet will pop up that you have to ok. Click that and it should work.:)

Edit: Well, I see you solved your problem, but perhaps this will help someone else!

Thank you! Good for future reference.:goodvibes

Anyone know if you can use this with an item that already comes with a bonus gift card this week, like the Ipod Nano w/$15 gift card?

I figured out what my printing problem was. It didn't work with Firefox, it did work with IE.

Also, I bought 2 $25 GC for Disney plus about $6 worth of meat and received an additional coupon for $10 off next $80 purchase. This happened last year. Let the games begin!

I got some last week, but it was for $5 off $50.

Your sweet.... However I was very impressed with myself also. Lol

And I forgot to say that I also received 2 of the 8/$80 coupons.

And yes you can use it even if there is a gift card with purchase. Just ring up what you want let them give you the gift card THEN hand them the coupons for the $10 gc. Also if you have coupons ALWAYS use your blank off $ coupon FIRSt then all of your other coupons.

The lady in front of me purchased $90 worth of stuff have the cashier her coupon a then tried to use her 8/80 coupon but couldn't because the other coupons took her total before tax to under 80. So she walked out having spent $8 she shouldn't have had to if she had just given that one to the cashier first.

Good luck everyone. I hope I get the same cashier this weekend when I go back with my 6 other coupons.

So I could get the Ipod with the gift card, then use my $5 off of $50 coupon, then the $10 gift card coupon?

Hi all. I did go to Target for my lunch break and was able to use the coupon to purchase a $50 Visa gift card. The activation costs on these are $5 which is a little bit higher than at Wal-Mart. I typically get one of these for my Mom for Christmas every year. She lives in a small area and don't have many stores so I know she can spend it wherever she wants.

I did get the $10 Target gift card with this purchase. But I did not get the 5% off by using the Target debit card.

I also went through the store and purchased another $50 worth of items, got the 5% discount this time and a second $10 Target gift card.

I think I will make at least one more $50 purchase from Target before the coupon expires.

If I remember correctly, last year they ran this deal two weekends in a row. I believe the second weekend it was a Friday night and Saturday morning type thing. Anybody else remember?

It doesn't bring your $50 purchase down. I just used a coupon - bought a $50 Disney gift card, handed the coupon over, as soon as they scan it it prompts them to give you the $10 gift card, then you can pay however you like. I used my Red Card so my total was actually $48.50.

How are you all able to print more than 2 coupons? Sorry for the newb question! LOL

I've tried to figure out how you came out to spending $293. Were you able to use your Target debit/credit card to get the 5% off of each purchase in which you used the card? Did you buy something else?

Yes, it was two full weekends last year. Thankful, but exhausting!

You have to find another computer. DH has a computer so he printed off two.

Yes.... Score!!!!!

You do realize ALL the coupons you print from the Target website have the same bar coded number. Copies work perfectly. I would post a scan of the coupons for all to print but I have a feeling that would cause trouble. They are out there, if you know where to look. Best of luck!!

Guessing the value of the purchase was $40 ($50-$10free GC), so .05*$40=$2 savings using Red Card.

Thanks so much for posting this!!! Just last night, my DH was telling me that they were getting ready to buy gift cards for some of his best clients at work as a "thanks for your business" Christmas present. I called him and found out they hadn't purchased them yet, and they were okay with me buying them & reimbursing him for the expense. I got 10 of them... so $100 worth of FREE Disney money for us! :cheer2:

If that is what Target did , they gipped me and that is upsetting, cause me purchase was WORTH $50. but oh well. I still did very well.

Here was my purchases at Target.....
1) $50 Disney gc, used red card = $48 + received $10 target gc
2) $50 Disney gc, used red card = $48 + received $10 target gc
3) $50 Disney GC used red card = $48 + receieved $10 target gc
4) $50 Disney gc used red card = $48 + received $10 target gc
5) $50 Disney gc used red card = $48 + received $10 target gc
6) $50 Disney gc used red card = $48 + received $10 target gc

Now the confusing part....

7) $50 Disney gift card used 5 of the $10 gc received (leaving 1) = FREE + ANOTHER $10 gc
8) $50 Disney gift card used 2 $10 gift cards from above purchase + $25 gc I had from before + $5 cash = $5

My total OOP was $293
