This is such sad news, I have seen this for the past 2 yrs and was looking forward to this year,It is my alltime favorite parade in the world. Thanks for the news.

OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We don't get to WDW very often, and when we were there in '01, it rained on our Epcot day and we didn't get to see TOD.....DD was crushed as it was one of the must do's....we were hoping so badly to get back to see it! I am so sad, she will be very disappointed. I appreciate the heads up.

I enjoyed TOD, but DH didn't care for it much -- he thought it was too "art-sy" -- he likes the MK type parades better.

So now the next question is -- what's next ?? Any word on a new parade?

I'm sad to see "Tapestry" go. Tapestry of Nations was my first unexpected bit of Disney Magic and was one of the causes of me being a Disney addict!

I am THRILLED, however, that we will be there for the last run on March 1st!

I really will miss ToD as we really enjoy to watch that parade just before our FAVORITE show ... Reflections of Earth!!

Fortunately, we will be able to see it one last time before it leaves

I'm sad to see Tapestry go (the overall theme with puppets, drums, and music). But if you saw ToN and didn't see ToD, you really didn't miss anything.

As for what's next. Go to the Rumors and News Board, they have a thread around there somewhere called 'Epcot's Next Parade' or something like that. It basicly states what to expect.

Whew! I just saw Tapestry of Dreams two weeks ago, and really enjoyed it! I LOVE that song they play in the parade. I also saw Reflections of Earth four times on my trip, and absolutely love the music in that show, too! I bought the Epcot CD so I can listen to both songs here at home. I am glad I was finally able to see Tapestry of Dreams - hope there is another good parade coming!

I was very sad to see TON go, but I won't miss TOD. Loved the puppets and the music. Hated the dreamcatcher.

I loved TON but never saw TOD. I'm sorry to see this parade go because I loved the music to it. I sure am glad I have the CD, though!

Thanks for the heads up. I'll make sure it's on my list for my Feb trip.

I saw TOD this week. To me it was a shortened, pared down, not as good, version of TON. Even the costumes seemed worn out. It was time for a change.

NOOOOO!! I liked this! Although I liked the TON better than the TOD, but it seemed magical to me. Well, maybe they will replace it with something even better!

My DD11 is saddened by this. She loves ToD. However, I just looked over our plans, and we have a PS at GG for the Ice Cream Social on March 1st. We will be able to be there for the last time. DH doesn't enjoy it either as another poster stated "too artsy". I wonder what's next?!

The official WDW website lists TOD twice every day in March. April and later schedules are not posted yet. I know the posted schedules are subject to change without notice, but it seems unlikely that they would show times for the parade when they don't plan to have it. Would be easier to stop it April 1, since they haven't posted that schedule yet. I just don't think Disney would make that sort of last-minute decision.

I'm sad to see it go. TOD wasn't as good as TON but it was still a great way to spend my park time.

I really enjoyed the large "puppets", but I don't think losing it will be that bad. Personally I thought it was a really long parade and it dragged out far too long. That whole Dreamcatcher guy thing was kind of creepy! Maybe I just didn't get it????

I have seen both parades a couple of times each and though many love them, I found them too long and dragged out for my taste. The parades could have been much shorter and given the same effect to the public is my opinion. Change is something that goes on constantly at the Disney parks no parade stays forever and it is time for a change..Hope they come up with something good!!!
