Tying all my loose ends together...
I finally finished my charms for my bouquet. I did one for my grandmother and one for my son. I made another one into a necklace for my aunt.
This is my grandmother's ring I got yesterday. She wore it everyday that I can remember. I had to put a ring guard on it to be able to wear it. I'm excited to wear it for the VR b/c it makes me feel closer to her.
Here are my FE exchange gifts. I hit up the dollar store today and got enough dry erase boards for each cabin, plus some silly stuff to split up and give to each person depending on age. There's crayons, word searches, mini frisbees, sticker books, toys, and more.
One with my "hairy kid" in the shot. He's Nathan, my wienie dog.
I also started packing big time today! All my clothes plus the kids' clothes are packed up. (Minus my dress. Still waiting on one more fitting.) Half of Dan's clothes are packed. My toasting glasses, jewelry, shoes, tiara, silk flowers, cake topper, and more are all packed up.
The problem I'm having is that we no longer have the van, and we only have a little Neon. I don't know how I am going to get it all in the car! I'm working on it though.
I am finishing the bases of the topiaries and I also wrote out my vows:
I never thought that it would be possible for me to love you more than I did on the day we married,
but I do love you more and more with each passing day.
I love you for the ways you care for me and honor me.
You have taught me kindness, selflessness, and passion.
For this and for your undying love,
I am truly grateful.
We have experienced so much together in our past 10 yrs.
We have gone through great happiness and trying times.
You have picked me up when I was down,
and held me when no one else has.
You have cooked for me,
and laughed with me,
and cried with me,
and grieved the loss of our son with me.
We've also celebrated the births of our children
And the joys of parenthood.
However, we have always supported each other,
and as a result, our bonds of love have only grown stronger.
I pledge my undying support to you through the best and worst,
through sickness and health,
through the difficult and the easy -
Whatever may come.
Know that I will always be there for you through all the changes of our lives.
Times and circumstances will continue to change us. Yet you will always be handsome in my eyes. For love is the gift of understanding and acceptance.
I make my home in your heart -
Now and always.
I promise you my love and loyalty from this day forward
and for an eternity.
I will celebrate this union each and every day,
And I will cherish our friendship,
as I love you today, tomorrow, and forever.
I give you my heart to keep.
I love you!
